The dictionary definition of

Pride:

A feeling,

Or deep pleasure or satisfaction,

Derived from one's own achievements,

Or the achievements of those with whom one is closely associated.

My definition of

Pride:

The feeling,

Or deep pleasure or satisfaction

Derived from people singing in the streets,

Glowing with the happiness that comes with freedom.

Pride:

Acceptance of who you are,

No matter the consequence.
