Those words
Had the power
To heal or destroy.
"Would it help if I told you
I felt the same way?"
Those words
Killed me
In the best way possible.
I've said
"I love you"
More times today
Than I ever have.
I wouldn't wish it to be any other way.
And when you say
"I love you too."
"I love you more."
I'm not sure what to do.
Because in that moment
In that beautiful moment
I think I'm happy.
You've helped me to become something
I had thought I'd forgotten.
When you say my name
I'm warm.
And that
Though it sounds odd,
Is the most accurate way I've found
To describe this.
To describe the feeling I get
When I touch you.
When you laugh.
When you smile.
The feeling of being on fire.
Of being in fire
For you.
Because of you.
"I love you."
"I love you too."
