This is just something for you guys that I'm just gunna ramble about & probably make a lack of sense through but, hear me out.
If you're here as a writer, don't worry. Don't worry about reads, don't worry about votes, & don't worry about comments. If you're only writing for that, you're not going to have fun.
Write about things you enjoy. Write in ways you're comfortable, or find interesting. Create something you would enjoy reading yourself.
Don't worry if it doesn't have the amounts of reads or votes as other stories, it doesn't matter.
Don't compare yourself to other writers & bum yourself out because you aren't matching their reads & fic popularity.
Some stories have been running longer than others, giving people more time to have discovered it. Don't be ashamed because your story hasn't been found yet. Sometimes, it can take awhile.
Just write in a way you are proud of. Just write a story/fanfiction/whatever your heart desires that you can enjoy writing, as well as reading over.
At the end of the day; if you don't have fun with it, it's not worth writing.
Don't be discouraged :)
Follow your little heart wherever it takes you on the pen & paper or keyboard and screen.
If you are comfortable, expand yourself. Try writing from new points of view. Try writing new ships. Go for contests. Never limit yourself because you don't think you're good enough.
You never know what the end result will be if you never make it to the end :)
