Almost a year has gone by since any Spider-Man encounters and Avenger's assembling. Which made me feel like someone was winding up for a big blow, and at a bad time too because...

Peter and I became close. Closer than I thought I could be with anyone. I had never really been close to anyone in my life before and now I was.

I would hug him to say hello on a regular basis and smile at him through the day as if it was the most natural thing in the world.

One warm,Sunday afternoon, Peter and I were just talking on the roof of the apartments.

He would say a joke and then I would laugh. He was awkward, shy, sweet and kind. Every time I looked at him I felt curious to know more about him, like he was keeping a secret.

Maybe he did, I did too. I went to go grab a chocolate from behind us when he did as well and our hands touched for longer than I would've expected.

I looked at him and smiled then his lips fell onto mine. I should've pushed him away. This was dangerous. If I was found out he could be in trouble.

We held it for a few seconds then broke apart blushing just as much as each other.

"I'll see you tomorrow." Peter smiled.

"See you then."

Peter walked off with the weight all of a sudden hitting him hard. What if I get found out. She could get in trouble or worse.

Their secrets were things that they built their lives on and they would keep them hidden until the day they died.

If you can imagine it was awkward showing up to school the next day. They still smiled but no physical contact was made.

They sat at lunch and hardly spoke a word. Then when they were on break outside the silence was broken.

"What are we Peter."

I didn't mean to but the deep feelings I had for him drove me to speak.

"What do you want us to be?"

Peter felt his heart lift as his feelings drove him as well.

"If you didn't notice already I really like you."

Peter laughed. "Well I agree. I like me too."

I shoved him and he fell sideways quickly regaining his balance.

"How about I come over later today. It can be a homework date and we can see how that goes?"

I laughed. "Alrighty."
