I was getting ready to go over to Yahya's house since he asked me to come. I was changing into a oversized sweater and skinny jeans. I put on my converse and grabbed my phone and keys. I let my mom know where I was going and headed out to my car.

"Open the door!!" I messaged him and I got out of my car.
"How's my girl?" He hugged me.
I laughed but blushed that he called my his girl.
We went inside and sat in the living room.
"Pick a movie I'm going to make some popcorn." He told me as he walked over to the kitchen.
I scrolled through the movie options and immediately clicked on 'Grease' once I seen it. It's one of my favorite movies ever. I could watch it over and over again without getting bored. He came back with a bowl of popcorn and asked what movie I picked.
"Hmm. Never seen it."
"What?! Oh my god." I yelled. "It's literally the best movie ever."
"Chill." He laughed. "Plus I lied about not seeing it. It's Grease for crying out loud, everybody's seen it. It's amazing!"
"What? Why would you lie about not seeing it?"
"I read somewhere that every relationship is always based off some lie. I guess I wanted to get mine over with." He told me.
"Why?"
"I don't know. It's complicated I guess."
"I was raped. In high school by a basketball player." I lied.
"Wow.. That was a good lie." Damn.
"What how did you know that was a lie?" I asked him.
"Because I seen it coming. We were just talking about it. You can't tell your lie now." He said as he looked at me.
"Why can't I?"
"You have to do it when I don't see it coming. When I'm completely vulnerable and I'll fall for it." He told me.
"Sounds dangerous."
"It is."
We didn't say anything for a while.
"Let's watch the movie." I said as I pressed play.

Summer lovin', had me a blast
Summer lovin', happened so fast
Met a girl crazy for me
Met a boy cute as can be
Summer days drifting away
To, uh oh, those summer nights

Well-a, well-a, well-a, uh!
Tell me more, tell me more
Did you get very far?
Tell me more, tell me more
Like does he have a car.

We sang along like he was Danny and I was Sandy. We laughed once the song finished and ate some popcorn. Occasionally he would put his arm around me or something along those lines. We kept watching, laughing here and there and singing along until the movie ended.
"Sandy, oh Sandy. Don't ever leave me." Yahya stood up and looked at me.
I stood up and as dramatic as I could be I said "Oh Danny. I could never. I love you." We literally just made up our own lines. Yahya picked me up and threw me over his shoulder while he ran around the house.
"Yahya!" I laughed. "You're going to drop me. Put me down!" I yelled as I was hitting his back so he would let me down.
He laughed. "You think that hurt."
"Seriously though, you're going to drop me."
He let go of me completely. I closed my eyes waiting for the collision from the floor but it never came. I opened me eyes. Huh?
"I told you I wasn't going to drop you." He laughed and walked over to the kitchen.
"I wanna make you something to eat." He told me as he opened the fridge.
"A man that cooks, I like it." I joked.
"You better. What are you in the mood for?"
"Avocado!"
"Alright go make yourself comfortable on the couch while I make you something to eat." He told me.
"But I wanna stay." I whined.
"No."
I turned my back and pretended to ignore him.
"Sweets, you couldn't ignore me even if you tried." I could literally feel him smirking.
"Oh yeah?" I challenged.
"See you already talked." He winked and made his way over to the kitchen.

I ended up just sitting and going through my phone. I checked my social medias and opened YouTube but got interrupted by a phone call.
"Hello." I answered.
"Haneen?" A voice said.
"Uh. Who's this?" I said.
"It's me, Ahmad." He whispered.
"Are you okay what's wrong?"
"I need you to come get me." He said.
"Why didn't you call your brother?"
"Because he'll kill me. Just please come get me and bring a first aid kit." He told me. "I'll send you the address right now."  And with that he hung up.
"Yahya! Where's your first aid kit." I yelled over to him.
"You good?"
"Yeah I'm fine. Where is it.
"Upstairs in the bathroom. First cabinet on your left."

I made my way to the bathroom and grabbed the first aid kit.
"Promise me you won't freak out." I asked him as I walked downstairs.
"What is it?" He asked nervously.
"Your brother is hurt and he didn't want to tell you because he knew you would freak."
"What?! Where is he?" He asked panicky.
"Just come with me." I went to my car and waited for Yahya to come.
He came a few minutes later with a bag in his hand and his phone. He looked so cute. How did I get so lucky.
"Let's go." He said.
I drove to the address Ahmad had sent me. While we were driving I noticed Yahya was shaking his foot up and down nervously and bitting on his lip.
"Hey. He's fine. Don't worry." I grabbed his hand.
"I know. I know. Oh and here." He handed me the sandwich he had made me. I took a bite and gave him a bite as well.
"Chef Yahya. This is good." It was a giant veggie sandwich that had Avocado, lettuce, tomato and white cheese.
He laughed and kissed my hand.

Once we got there I called up Ahmad to find him. He was inside the cafe shop. We quickly went inside and found him sitting in a booth with his head down. When we went by him he lifted his head up and I gasped. His face was completely beat up. His eye was bruised and his lip was busted. I quickly opened the first aid kit and cleaned up the blood.
"Who did this to you?" Yahya said through clenched teeth.
"Julian." He didn't look at his brother. Almost as if he was ashamed.
"That son of a bitch." He whispered. "What happened?"
"Yahya."
"What happened!" I flinched at how loud he yelled. All eyes in the cafe were on us.
"I was coming to the cafe for a coffee and I seen him. So I tried leaving before he could see me but he had already seen me. I tried running but he was much faster than me and when he had caught me he pushed me against the wall and asked for his money. I told him that I didn't have it and I don't want to work with him anymore so he got mad and punched me. When I tried fighting back it only made him more angry so he beat me up. I didn't want to tell you because I knew if you seen him you would kill him." He told us while he had his head down.
"Listen man, next time tell me. You're my little brother. I shouldn't have to hear from my girl that you're hurt." He slapped his brothers back playfully.
"You guys are too cute to be honest. Let's head back to your house, yeah?" I said.
"Let's go." Yahya put an arm around Ahmad and we went to my car.
"You got an aux?" Ahmad asked.
"Hell yeahh." I laughed and handed him the aux cord.
He played 'Child's Play' by Drake and I turned up the volume.
'Bounce that shit like woah. This is not a fairytale I already know how you like it. Take you to the mall, getchu a new outfit.' Ahmad sang the first verse.
'Why you gotta fight with me at cheesecake? You know I love to go there. This a type a place for families that drive camrys and go to Disney. They don't need to know all of our business, you wildn' you super childish. You go to CVS for Kotex in my Bugatti.' I sang the verse perfectly and both of them looked at me in awe.
"What?" I laughed.
"That was good." Ahmad laughed.
We all got ready to sing the next verse.
'Momma is a saint yeah she raised me real good. All because of her I don't do you like I should.'

Once we got to their house my mom texted me telling me I need to come home.
"I gotta go home. But I'll see you guys soon." I told them.
"Sounds good. Bye love." Yahya said.
"Bye Haneen." I waved and drove back to my house.
