I took the keys out of my car and made my way over to my house. I locked my car and opened the front door. As soon as I walked I heard yelling. I went over to the living room where my family was sitting, what is going on?
"Mom, what's going on?" I asked.
"Haneen sit down." My mom said softly.
I went to where my brother was sitting. None of kids talked, it was just my parents arguing.
"Jihad, how long have they been fighting?"
"The past half hour." He said. "It looks pretty bad."
"I should just leave! You guys obviously don't need me here!" My dad yelled.
"You should because I don't want to stay with you anymore!" My mom cried. My eyes went wide. I looked at my brother and sisters and they too were in shock.
"Well than its settled. I'll be out tomorrow morning." He stated in a low voice. He went upstairs and slammed the door shut.
"Mama, what the hell was that?" My older sister asked.
"Listen, I don't want you guys to freak out. But me and you're dad haven't been seeing eye to eye on anything lately. He comes home and does nothing, he yells for no reason and he doesn't treat us right. So I don't think I want to be with him anymore." My mom told us.
"So are you guys getting divorced?" My brother asked.
"I think so but let's not rush anything. Just try to get some rest guys."
"Then what? Act like none of this ever happened? Pretend that you guys didn't just argue to the point divorce was the only option!" I yelled.
"Mama, my wedding is in a month." Jehan stated.
"And we both will attend obviously." My mom stayed surprisingly calm.
"Whatever. I'm going to my room." I stood up and went upstairs to my bedroom.

I know I shouldn't be mad, but my parents are splitting up. After twenty years together they're splitting up. I plopped into my bed and stared at the ceiling. I was playing with my ring, the one Yahya had given me. We've been together for more than half a year. It's been nine months. Wow, it's crazy how fast everything happened. What if I didn't go to the pool that one day, would I still have met Yahya? I feel like fate brought us together for a reason. To show us that love truly exists when you're with the right person. I believe that things happen for a reason and I'm honestly so blessed to have met Yahya. I got up from me bed to change into pajamas. Once I changed I went over to the bathroom and washed my face and brushed my teeth. I went back to my bed and grabbed my Apple laptop. I logged onto Netflix and continued another episode of Gossip Girl. I've always wanted a guy like Chuck. He's changed so much for Blair. I think I finally found my Chuck.

Yahya's POV

"Ahmad!" I yelled over to my younger brother.
"Sup?" He yelled back.
"Come here." I heard him groan and then walk over to my room.
"What?"
"Do remember a few months ago, you told me if I still feel the same about Haneen that you would come with me to ask for her hand?" I asked him.
"Yeah. Well? What do you wanna do?"
"I wanna do it." I told him. "I love her, man."
"Alright go talk to baba and see what he says." He slapped my back and I went downstairs.

Haneen's POV

I was in the middle of watch Gossip Girl when I was interrupted by my phone buzzing indicating that I got a text message. I paused the show and grabbed my phone off my dresser. It was from a random number. The text was a picture, I clicked on it and my eyes widened. Tears began forming in my eyes. I didn't want to believe it. It was a picture of Yahya kissing some girl. How could he? After all we've been through. Damn I should've known this was bound to happen. I texted Yahya angrily.
"How could you do this to me? I never want to see you again!"
I ripped off the necklace he had given me and tore off the ring he had also given me. I threw them in my drawer and cried. I didn't know what else to do but cry.

Yahya's POV

Before I could go downstairs I had gotten a text message. It was from Haneen.
"How could you do this to me? I never want to see you again!"
What? I looked at my phone confused. I tried calling her but she didn't pick up. What the heck is going on. I thought everything was going well.
"Ahmad do you know what's wrong with Haneen?"
"No, what's wrong?" He asked.
"I don't know. She texted me saying she never wants to see me again."
"I don't know man. Maybe give her space."
I back to my room and sat on my bed. I didn't know why she was so angry. We were perfect, I was gunna ask for her hand. We're supposed to end up together.
