THE FIVE OF THEM — the ones left after the attack last night — are sitting outside the facility, waiting until Charles, Erik and Moira come back. The air is thick, Rosie thinks she might suffocate soon. Beside her, Alex has his head hanging down. She wonders why she knows exactly what he might be feeling and why she cares enough to console him about it, given they've only known each other for a short time.
"Hey," She starts, earning a look from the boy to her left, "I hope you're not blaming yourself for what happened last night." She turns her head to look at him, who sighs.
"I knew you were going to say that . . ." He looks down to his feet and she puts her hand on his shoulder.
"Alex." She calls him, "It's not your fault."
He feels her concern and gives her a look that says that he'll be okay. He holds her hand against his shoulder reassuringly. Giving her a sign that he appreciates her concern, and that he can handle it. The very car they were waiting for arrives and Charles immediately goes to give Raven a hug once he saw her and the others after getting out of the car.
"We've made arrangements for you to be taken home immediately." Charles informs.
"We're not going home." Sean replies.
"What?"
"He's not going back to prison." Sean motions to Alex.
"He killed Darwin." Alex complains. His voice raise warrants a squeeze from Rosie's hand on his shoulder.
"All the more reason for you to leave. This is over." Charles states, nodding his head.
"Darwin's dead, Charles. And we can't even bury him." Raven tells him and the rest looks down, once again reminded of the fact that they've barely begun anything and have already lost a friend.
"We can avenge him." Erik joins after a couple of seconds, making the rest of them look up at him as they realize the meaning of his words.
"Erik, a word, please." Charles says, visibly stressed, and the two walk away from the group as the others look at them with curiosity. Soon after a couple of seconds, Charles turned back to look at them.
"We'll have to train." He says. "All of us. Yes?"
"Yeah." Alex agrees, followed by the others as they nod in response.
"Well, we can't stay here. Even if they reopen the department, it's not safe. We've got nowhere to go." Hank adds.
"Yes, we do."

The group stands in awe in front of a castle-like mansion. Rosie's not a stranger to large buildings and homes, but she's never seen anything like this before. It looks like a very small castle to her.
