tyler typed the number he got on hangouts onto his iphone, as he got kind of nervous. he saved it as 'joshua'.

he sent a text:

joshua: sorry who is this

joshua: pls tell me you're Tyler Joseph

(unknown number): yeah I am :)

joshua: omfg

joshua: let me save ur number i'll brb

joshua: done

tyler joseph: cool

joshua: you're cool

tyler joseph: stop lying

joshua: i s2g i am not lying 

tyler joseph: you don't know me

joshua: i will soon

joshua: i have a question for you

tyler joseph: are you serious

tyler joseph: btw my body is ready for your question

joshua: why don't you record your face when you sing and you just put the voice recording not letting us all see you?

tyler joseph: ok my body was not ready for this question

joshua: did i make you uncomfortable?

tyler joseph: kinda

joshua: oh god i'm a mess 

joshua: i'm sorry, Tyler

tyler joseph: don't worry... i can reply i guess

joshua: i obviously won't force you, just do it if you're cool with it

tyler joseph: i kinda am but i should open up at least to someone

tyler joseph: oh my god i am opening up to a stranger

joshua: i repeat: i'm not forcing you, if you aren't comfortable with it just don't do it babe

tyler joseph: i guess i don't use a webcam because i am insecure about  everything and so also about my face and i am afraid that people may judge me for what i look like instead of just hearing my songs

tyler joseph: but even if i wanted to record my face i don't have the money to buy a webcam since i can't find a job and i don't wanna ask my parents so

joshua: i understand, i have lots of insecurities too, but let me say that someone with such a flawless voice must be really pretty

joshua: btw i'm sorry about the fact that you can't find a job :(

tyler joseph: don't worry. do you work?

joshua: yep, i work in a bookshop

tyler joseph: mh that's cool

joshua: how old are you?

tyler joseph: i am 18 and turning 19 on december 1st, how about you?

joshua: i am 18 too but turning 19 in a couple weeks

tyler joseph: wow cool

joshua: yeah
