Once the meeting was over, I shook hands with Mr. Harington and walked down to the parking lot. Along the way I could feel Martin's gaze burning into my skin.
M: Could we at least grab some coffee?
Seeing his face made me feel a certain pity and so I couldn't help but say yes.
We made our way to the nearest Starbucks, Martin's car behind mine. Me and Martin ordered our drinks and set down.
M: Can you please talk to me
N: Do you trust me?
M: That's beside the point!
N: That's not an answer
M: Of course I do
N: And you felt sparks and fireworks when we kissed, right?
M: Yes, but...
N: And did you feel the same thing with Ellie?
I grabbed my bag and made my way out when I feel a hand grasping mine.
M: Wait!
N:The only reason why I have been ignoring you is for the simple reason that I want you to follow your dream and not get stuck here like me.
And then I got in my car and made my way back home, leaving Martin with an utter look of astonishment and realization.
