I woke up the next morning, with my hand sprawled on Martin's chest. Last night we had spent the whole night just talking and joking around. He made me feel so much better.
I suddenly heard my phone ring, it was Kylie. "Hey girl! Listen I was wondering if you would want to join in some shopping, I didn't even notice how close prom is! Hahah". Oh my God, prom, I totally forgot about that. "Hmm, yeah. I'll meet you at the mall." "See ya!", responded Kylie.
I slowly and silently made my way downstairs. "Caught ya red handed little lady" Socked I nearly fell down the rest of the stairs but I managed to grasp onto the railing and balance myself, "Jesus, you scared me", "Oh I'm so sorry hun, why don't you join me for some tea?". Debating whether I should say no Martin's grandmother, but I thought some tea wouldn't hurt. "Sure", I responded with a smile.
"Thank you my dear", she said as she handed me the tea, "For what?", I simply replied, "You make my Martin happy and he hasn't been happy in while, you know his parents travel around for work and they are never home, but ever since he met you, he's constantly happy." She literally left me dumbfounded. I mean Martin made me happy too but I never knew I had such an affect on him. I smiled down when I suddenly saw the time, I was so late! I quickly excused myself and ran to my car.
*At the mall*
Kylie and I basically went in every single shop in the mall, Kylie had picked up a beautiful blue, strapless dress that hugged her body amazingly. I on the other hand, didn't manage to find anything and I was close to giving up.
"Hey Naomi. This is definitely the one!"
