Chapter 5

Austin's POV
I downed half of drink I was drinking and looked over at Alan. He was a small ways away in the crowd dancing. He had drunk more than any of us so far and to say he was a little tipsy was an understatement.

I smiled at the ginger boy and he came over to where I was standing at the bar.
"Heeeyyyyyyyy Auuussssttttiinnn." He said giggling and dragging out his words.
"Hey Alan." I said. I was a little buzzed but no where the level Alan was. He ordered another drink and downed it.

"Dance with me." He said and before i could respond he grabbed my hand and pulled me onto the dance floor. He turned around and started grinding on me. I grabbed his hips and moved with him. He turned around and put his hands behind my neck. With my hands still on his hips we danced.

We danced a while before Alan dragged me to a table wanting to sit down.
He giggled and ordered another drink.
"Your cute." He said and I looked at him.
"Not as cute as you." I said and he blushed.

"Your nice Austin, like really nice and I wanna be friends." Alan said slurring his words. "Please be my friend?" He said and pouted.
"I would love to be your friend Alan." He squealed and came over to me wrapping his arms around my neck in a hug. I hugged him back, he  tensed and pulled away.

"Alan?" I questioned.
"My side just hurts." He said and sat back down.
"Let me see." I said and stood up walking around the table to him.
"Can I.." I motioned to the end of his shirt asking if I could pull it up.
He nodded. He shrugged his arm out of his flannel and I lifted his white t-shirt up.

There on his flawless pale skin was a purple bruise. I ran my fingers across it and he flinched slightly. He looked down and giggled.
"Ohhhhh that's what it was, completely forgot about that." He said and giggled again pulling his shirt down and replacing his arm back in his flannel.

"What happened Alan?" I asked concerned.
"I made James mad. Nothing new." He shrugged it off like nothing.
"Alan he shouldn't do that." I took his hand and rubbed it gently he laced our fingers together and played with my fingers.

"It's fine. It's not the worse that's happened." When he said that i knew I had a look of shock on my face. My insides boiled with anger.
"What has he done Alan?" I questioned.

"The worse was probably the time He broke my arm. Well I guess I did that, I mean I was the one who stumbled down the stairs after he pushed me."  He giggled. "Although it didn't help when he stepped on it. I also got a busted lip and a whoolllllleeeeeee lot of bruises. But they were all in places clothes would cover. He's careful ya know?"

"Alan that isn't right."
"Austin I love him. He's really sweet and caring. This morning he made me the cutest breakfast." He said his eyes filled with a dreamy gaze. "There was rose petals and coffee with my favorite creamer. We also watched The Nightmare Before Christmas. He did make me eat tho. Which wasn't fun. But we ended up cuddling with each other till Kellin called. I miss him." He sighed and reached for his drink. He gulped some down and started crying.

"Austin I miss James. Please can I go home. I need him. Please." He reached for the drink again but I pushed it away.
He didn't protest.
"Alan do you honestly think that's a good idea?"
"Think what's a good idea?"
"Going back to your house with James."
"Austin that's a fantastic idea! Let's go!" He squealed and grabbed my wrist. Letting go of my hand.

"Whoa wait let me go get Kellin and Vic. Wait right here." I said and sat him back down in his seat.

I searched the club looking for Kellin or Vic. I was fuming about what Alan had told me about James. I put my anger to the side tho and concentrated on finding the guys. They had to help me convince Alan to not go back to James place. He wasn't safe there and i couldn't stand the thought of another bruise on his perfect body.
