Chapter 14

Austin's POV
Once we got to Kellin's place all Alan wanted to do was sleep, but before he could do that we had to make sure he was okay. He was already bruising and there was blood too. He didn't say much just winced occasionally.

I carried him to the bathroom and sat him on the counter. I tried to move away to go get a first aid kit but he just clung to me. He didn't want to be alone. As I was getting ready to yell for Kellin Vic came in the bathroom.
"Kellin wants you I'll stay with him." He said and gave a small smile. I nodded and tried to pull away again only for Alan to pull me back.
"Hey Princess I'll be right back." I said and pushed some hair behind his ear.
"I don't wanna be alone." He said softly.
"Vic is gonna be right here." He lifted his head and looked to Vic then me. He pulled away slowly and Vic came to stand next to him. I kissed his cheek and walked down the hallway to find Kellin.

When I entered the kitchen he engulfed me with a hug.
"Thank you so much Austin." He said and I hugged him back. "Here is a first aid kit and some clothes. I'll be in there in a minute. I just need to process things." I nodded and walked back to the bathroom. Vic was holding a crying Alan.

"Alan he's not leaving. He will be right back I promise." Vic said softly.
"Hey Princess." When I spoke Alan's head shot up and he scrambled off the counter and hugged me. I sat him back in the counter and started patching him up. His sides were bruised and he had a nasty cut on his head. One eyes was bruised, a lip busted, and a greenish bruise around his neck. I cleaned up the cut on his head first and the other minor scrapes. There was t much I could do with the bruises, but. If got him ice for his eye. We wrapped his ribs and I helped him slip into the soft pajama bottoms.

"Can I wear your hoodie?" He asked as I started to unfold the shirt Kellin had got him to wear.
"Of course you can." Vic ran to get it out of the car and then I slipped it on him.
"Thank you for everything." He said and kissed me gently, putting his hands on my cheeks. "Can we go lay down?" I nodded and as we walked out of the bathroom he spotted Kellin. He ran as fast as could and jumped onto him.

"Thank you Kellin! I love you so much."
"I love you to Alan." Alan climbed down and went to hug Vic. He came back over to me and led me up the stairs to a room. He laid down on the bed and I laid beside him. He snuggled closer to me and I wrapped my arms around him. I listened as his breathing steadied. He snores softly and I wondered how long it had been since he had a restful nights sleep, but everything was fine now. He was away from James and he was safe.

Alan's POV
When I woke up I had a sharp pain in my side and a dull ache in my face. The more awake I felt the more I remembered from last night. I bet James was pissed, but that didn't matter anymore. I was gone, I left him for good. I smiled and rolled over to see a sleeping Austin.

His mouth was open slightly and his hair ruffled. I couldn't help but giggle. I poked his nose over and over until he grabbed my hand and held it with his.
"Shhhhh sleepy time." He mumbled.
"Austinnnnnn." I whined. He put a finger to my lips and pulled my closer.
"Hush little Alan don't say a word. Austin's trying to sleep the day away. So hush little Alan don't say a word." Austin sang, which only made me laugh.

"Okay I'm up." He said sitting up on the bed. "Now what do you have planned for the day my ginger."
"To relax. Everything hurts." I said with a  dry laugh. Austin pulled me to him.
"I'm sorry."
"Don't say that. It's not your fault." I kissed him lightly and snuggled in his arms. We laid like that for a while until I wanted to go bug Kellin.

We walked down the hall to his room and I opened the door slowly. Kellin was asleep but Vic was no where to be found. I crept over slowly and grabbed a pillow and hit him with it. Kellin woke up and pulled me into the bed with him.
"Morning Alan."
"Morning Kellin." I said with a laugh. We both climbed under the covers and giggled.
"Hey Alan's my cuddle buddy." Austin pouted.
"Go find us food and I'll give him back."
"Okay then." Austin walked out of the room and we heard the front door shut.

Kellin and I talked but avoided the subject of last night. Eventually both Austin and Vic came back carrying bags of food.
"So apparently Vic went to get food also." Austin said sitting the bag of food on the bed.
"Oops." Kellin said and Vic snatched him up into his arms.
"Who knew didn't you you little devil." Vic said and kissed his head. We all sat on the bed and ate.

Eventually we all wanted to watch a movie but instead of going to the living room we just piled on Kellin's bed. Austin and I were at the top and the others at the bottom. At some point during the movie Austin grabbed my hand to hold it, I didn't move away. He leaned closer and whispered in my ear.
"Can I take you out tomorrow?" I turned to look at him and smiled.
"Of course." He pecked my cheek and I scooted closer to him.
