Chapter 17

Alan's POV
"Some dude was messing with him." The Shay guy said. "We got them apart them he asked for you." He said gesturing to me.
"He's my boyfriend." Austin said and placed a kiss on my forehead. "Who was messing with you Princess?" He trailed his hand over my cheek. "Why is your cheek so red?"
I hesitated before answering. "James."
Austin's eyes flared with anger. "I swear. I'm gonna." He clenched his fists together.
"Austin it's okay. Calm down. He's gone. I don't like seeing you mad." He instantly softened his look. "Sorry. Do you wanna go to my place?" I nodded and he thanked Shay and the other guy before taking my hand and walking me to where his car was.

We drive back to his and Tino's place with the radio playing softly. Once we got there we went inside and he fell on the couch and made grabby hands at me. I smiled and walked over to him and sat on his lap.
He kissed my cheek. "Are you okay Princess?" He asked seriously.
"I was shook up. But I'm okay now." I said truthfully. He smiled and me and I buried my face in his neck, before I got an idea. I started slowly sucking the skin there and he took in a deep breath. I kept on until I was satisfied with the result and pulled back smiling at him.

"You little minx." He said before grabbing my face in his hands and kissing it. I deepened the kiss and his hand trailed down my back. Resting in the top of my jeans. I grinded on him slowly and he moaned into the kiss. I kept at it until he grabbed my hips to stop me.
"Princess where is this going?" He asked. I smirked at him and grinded down harder.
"Wherever you want it to." I said in what I hope was a seductive voice. He stopped everything and held my hands in his.
"Are you sure? Alan I'm not going to force you into anything."
"Austin I want this. I want you." He kissed me roughly and then picked me up. He carried me to the bedroom and laid me on my back.
"Austin." I said and took a breath. "I love you." He smiled he most magnificent smile and kissed the tip of my nose.
"I love you to Alan." My heart swelled ten times and I wrapped my arms around his neck pulling him closer to me.

That night we made love, as cheesy as it sounds, but we did. Austin made me feel loved and it wasn't just having sex. It had meaning to it. It was the most amazing experience I had ever had.

"You did what with my precious ginger!?" Kellin said and pointed a finger at Austin. Vic and I laughed and Austin blushed.
"Well-" Austin started but I slapped a hand over his mouth.
"No details need to be given." I said and smiled sweetly.
"Austin your in trouble." Kellin said and smacked him on the arm.
"No hitting Kellin." Vic said and pulled him onto his lap.
"Whatever." He mumbled. "Hey Alan did you finish that paper for class?"
I nodded "Yea." Then Kellin gave me puppy dog eyes.
"Wanna help me?"
"Yea let's go."

Austin's POV
"So was he shaken up when James pulled him outside of class?" Vic asked as we waited on ice cream. While Alan helped Kellin on his paper we decided to be sweet boyfriends and get them some ice cream.
"He was at first, I just think he's finally realized that no of us are gonna let anything happen to him. He told me yesterday after we...ya know... that this was the happiest he'd ever been. He was glad he had you, Kellin and me. He was more than happy that James was gone too."
"I just don't understand why James would come after Alan again. He knows that if he does he's in a heap of trouble." Vic said as  he paid for Kellin's ice cream. I paid and we both headed back down the street. Thank god Mine and Tino's place wasn't very far from here.
"James lost the control he had and he wants it back. That's he reason. He thinks he can fool Alan into coming back. I was actually kinda worried to tell you the truth." I said looking down at my feet.

"Worried? Why?" Vic asked.
"Well Alan was so far into James's game, I was afraid  he would go back." I said sadly.
"You have nothing to worry about Austin. Like you said Alan's finally realized that this is what's best for him." I only nodded and we walked silently back to my place.

"Kellin a comma goes there!" I heard as I opened the door.
"No it doesn't!"
"Yes it does! I'm a comma freak. I know what I'm talking about." I walked in to see Alan throw a pencil at Kellin.
"Fine. If I get a point off it's your fault."
Vic and I laughed and the other two turned their attention towards us.
"You got us ice cream?" Kellin asked excitedly.
"Nope." Vic said and sat down, licking a stripe of the ice cream.
"Vic you don't even like chocolate!" Kellin wined. Vic grimaced and held the ice cream to him.
"Your right."

Alan came over to me and I handed him the ice cream. He ate it happily and we all sat around talking and joking until it was time for me to take Alan to Kellin's, since they were leaving. He would have stayed at my place but everything he needed was there. On the way back to their place it was decided that I was going to spend the night. I was more than happy because I would get to cuddle my cute little ginger.
When we got their I saw the last person I ever wanted to see.

Everyone stopped at the edge of the porch and just looked at James. He had his head in his hands and was sobbing loudly. Eventually he noticed us and looked up. His eyes went straight to Alan and he about broke his neck getting to him. He dropped down into his knees in front of Alan and wrapped his arms around them.

"Alan baby please take me back." He said as tears fell down his cheek. I hated to say it but it was sorta heartbreaking seeing him do this. James was broken. Probably more than Alan.
"I'll do anything." He said standing on his feet and cupping Alan's face in his hands.
"Hands off." I growled out. James immediately took them away.
"Alan I'm so sorry. For everything I done to you. Every bruise and every broken promise I'm sorry. I was afraid you would leave me. I had to scare you to stay. Your perfect and I wish I had told you more often." I looked to see Alan's reaction and saw he had tears running down his cheeks. He took James hand and held it loosely.
"James..." he stopped and took a breath "I forgive you." James got a hopeful look in his eye. "But I can't be with you. You hurt me so bad. I forgive you but it can't be forgotten."

"Alan please we can work it out. I love you baby. With everything in me. Without you I'm broken. I haven't slept. I haven't ate. Your consuming my thoughts. I miss holding you at night and listening to the cute little snores that you make. I miss how you would laugh and you always wanted to cuddle. I miss waking up to your bedhead and I miss kissing your chapped lips. I miss everything single fucking thing. I'm so sorry I hurt you. I deserve to die Alan baby. You never deserved a bruise on your perfect skin," he wiped a tear from Alan's cheek. "And you never deserved to cry."
"James. Please understand this. What we had was great at first and I loved it then, I loved you then. But now it can't happen. Too much has happened. The good moments will always be in my mind, but in this case the bad outweighs the good. It's. not safe for either one of us."

James started crying again then nodded is head. "I get it." He kissed Alan's cheeks softly. "I love you Alan. I always will." He turned away from Alan then turned to me.
"Take care of him please. Don't turn into a me. Love him and treat him right, he deserves it."
"Of course I will." I said. He nodded. To me them turned to Kellin.
"Thank you for being there when something happened. I always left him and I-I'm sorry. Kellin just thank you."
"He's my best friend what did you expect?" Kellin scoffed.
"I know I know. And you I'm not sure who you are except that you were there the last time so thank you to." He said to Vic and he just nodded. A few moments of silence passed then James turned to Alan and smiled. He gave his hand a quick squeeze and then walked off down the sidewalk.

None of us said anything as we went into the house. Alan just curled up into my side and I held him close.
