Chapter 1

Natalie's POV
I woke up in the morning and went downstairs to get breakfast. I looked at the time 10:00. I'm soooo tired. I put some bread in the toaster and walked back upstairs to wait for it to toast. I heard my brother Mark talking to someone... Or by himself? I knocked on his door and slowly went in. He was broadcasting.
Mark: oh hey morning Nat
He calls me Nat because it's easier to say than Natalie
Me: oh morning. Sorry I didn't know you were broadcasting.
Mark: no it's fine come sit down and broadcast with me.
Me: I will but I have to go get my toast
Mark: ok
I walked back downstairs and buttered my toast. Then I walked back upstairs. Then I realized I had to get orange juice. So I walked back downstairs and got orange juice. I walked back upstairs and into marks room. I sat down and continued eating while reading the comments.
Mark: can you get me some water?
Me: I literally just went up and down the stairs 2 times! But being the amazing sister I am I will go get you water.
I walked back downstairs and got him water and walked back up and gave it to him. I sat back down.
Mark: actually I want some orange juice.
Me: Boi if you want orange juice get yo lazy butt up and move those little legs down the stairs and use your wimpy arms to put yourself some orange juice.
Mark put a hand to his heart and acted as if he was hurt. Then he started laughing.
Mark: I was kidding I'll go get it myself.
When he went downstairs I started reading the comments.
Duhitzmolly: your so lucky to be his sister
SarahThomas: I wish I was you
MarkLover123: are you going to the meet and greet with Mark?
Me: MarkLover123 yes I am going to the meet and greet with Mark...
Then I mumbled
Me: and worst of all Jacob
The comments started blowing up with ,"what did you say? I couldn't hear you?"
Me: that's the point I didn't want you guys to hear me.
Then Mark came in smiling
Me: stop smiling at me it's creeping me out!
Mark: but why wouldn't I be smiling if your having a good time talking to my fans
Me: well....
Mark: and I'm smiling because my best friend is here.
Oh no. I thought.
I look behind me and see Jacob. I gave him a disgusted look and grabbed my plate, stood up, and headed downstairs to wash it. I realized I forgot my cup SHOOT! I walked back upstairs into marks room.
Jacob: so did you come back to say hi to me... Aw your so sweet.
I ignored him
Jacob: harsh!
I walked out of my room and texted Ariel. (Yes baby Ariel)
Me: hey wanna go to the mall today?
Ariel😍😇: yeah sure meet you at your house at 12:00?
I look at the time. 11:00
Me: perfect see ya then!
I walked into my room and took a shower I changed into my blue muscle tee and and white lace shorts. I put on a locket that Mark gave me for my 14th birthday. It had a picture of me and him in it. I looked at it and smiled. I dried my hair and then curled it a little bit. I put on a watch and looked at the time. It was 11:55 I better go wait for Ariel outside. I walked in to marks room.
Me: yo Mark I'm going to the mall with Ariel be back later. Bye Mark
Mark: bye
Jacob: why dont you say bye to me
He said giving puppy dog eyes. He knows I hate him and he hates me back.
I walk out and told my mom I was going to the mall with Ariel. I walked out the door and saw Ariel. We then walked to the mall. It was only about a 10 minute walk.
Jacob's POV
When I walked into marks room this morning Nat gave me a disgusted glare and walked out of the room. I noticed that she left her cup. So when she came back I teased her. I really hate her. I mean I don't hate her in just not... Fond of her I guess. I mean I have to admit she is BEAUTIFUL! But she's not my type. After a little while mark ended the broadcast.
Mark: why don't you like Nat?
Jacob: eh she's not my type
Mark: not your type?! She loves everything you love! You just don't know it!
Jacob: how many trophies has she won in basketball?
Mark: I think about 22
Jacob: ok me too. How much does she love to explore and climb the mountains and climb high trees?
Mark: I promise you she would do it everyday if she could
Jacob: well I don't know why I dont like her I just guess we don't click like you and I did.
Then Nat walked in and told us she was going to the mall with Ariel. I knew that Mark liked Ariel. So I wanted to go to the mall with them. Or kinda spy on them I guess.😏 then she left.
Me: wanna go spy on them?
Mark: why because you like Nat?
I punch his shoulder playfully
Me: ew no! I meant so you could get along with Ariel.... U know that you like her!
Mark: ugh sure why not.
We started walking to the mall and when we got there I wondered where they would be.
Me: If I were Natalie where would I be?
Mark: duh it's obvious she always and I mean ALWAYS goes to H&M first!
Me: is there a reason she likes going there first?
Mark: no not really I guess she just likes their clothes. She also likes the music they play at H&M
