Chapter 12

--Skip The Day Mario And Natalie Don't Talk--
Natalie's POV
I woke up and changed into (pic in media) then ran to Mario's room. I knock on the door, wait a minute, and nobody answers. I know Jacobs not there because he stayed in our hotel room again. I turn the knob and it's unlocked. Mario isn't in his bed. I walk in worried and go walk around looking for him. I turn to see the bathroom light on. I walk towards it slowly and open it. I saw something I never ever wanted to see. Mario..... Cuts on his arms up and Down, cuts on his stomach and legs and face with a knife in his hand. I screamed and ran to him and bent down next to him where there was a piece of paper.
It Read: dear Natalie congrats you survived a whole day without me... Now can you do me a favor and do it the rest of your life? I was just so fed up with haters and couldn't take it anymore. Me: No, No, NO, NO, NO!
I call 911 immediately and check for a pulse on his wrist and his neck. I listen for a heartbeat. He is still breathing but his pulse is faint.
Speaker: 911 what is your emergency?
Me: help please help my boyfriend is dying he lost a lot of blood.
Speaker: ma'am please calm down and tell me where you are and what happened.
Me: sorry I'm at (tells location)
Speaker: we have someone on the way now please tell us what happened.
Me: thank you. I think it was a suicide attempt because of things people said about him.
Speaker: ok sweetie it's ok. Everything will be just fine
I hear a knock on the door.
Me: okay they are here thank you so much
Speaker: anytime I hope he's okay.
I hang up and answer the door crying. They run to the bathroom and put him on the stretcher and put him in the ambulance. I was bawling and clutching the note he left me. I tried to get in the back but they wouldn't let me.
Doctor: sorry ma'am only family members
Me: NO HES MY BOYFRIEND AND IM SURE AS HECK HE WILL BE MAD IF YOU DO NOT LET ME ON. I NEED TO BE WITH HIM EVERY STEP OF THE WAY! AND NOTHING IS GONNA KEEP ME FROM GOING IN THE BACK OF THAT AMBULANCE.
They look surprised
Doctor: sorry ma'am that's the rules
Me: rules?! Whatever!
I push through them with all my strength and sit next to Mario and hold his hand.
Doctor: ma'am you have to get out
I gave him an angry look
Me: NO! YOU CANT TELL ME WHAT TO DO
I'm bawling
Me: DO YOU HAVE ANY LOVED ONES?
Doctor: why yes I do
Me: THEN YOU WOULD UNDERSTAND THAT YOU WOULD WANNA BE WITH THEM EVERY STEP OF THE WAY!
Doctor: yes I know but--
Me: LOOK AT THIS NOTE HE LEFT FOR ME!
The Doctor took it and read it
Doctor: I'm sorry ma'am we can't--
Police: just let her go on you're not gonna get her out.
Doctor: ugh fine.
They get in and close the door. I heard something I never wanted to hear.
Doctor: HES NOT BREATHING! I NEED HELP!
I was crying hard. They work and work and we get to the ER and he still isn't breathing and he barely has a pulse. They made me wait in the waiting room while they tried to get him back.
Then I look at my phone and see I have 6 messages from Mark and 4 missed phonecalls from him too.
Mark🐒❤️: Natalie where are you?
Mark🐒❤️: Natalie where the heck are you?
Mark🐒❤️: Natalie answer your phone!
Mark🐒❤️: Natalie I know you have your phone because it's not in the room now answer me!
Mark🐒❤️: NATALIE WHERE ARE YOU!
Mark🐒❤️: NATALIE ANSWER ME AND JACOB ARE WORRIED SICK ABOUT YOU!
Why are they so worried I've only been gone......... Oh 2 hours. Oops! Wait did he say Jacobs worried about me too? Eh
Me: sorry Mark there was an emergency that needed to be taken care of right away!😭😭 (I explain to him)
Mark🐒❤️: oh my gosh what hospital I'm coming rn with Jacob
I tell him what hospital then put my phone back in my pocket and wait for them to call me in to Mario's room.
Mario's POV
I have had it with my haters. I planned that day for Natalie and I do that she would be able to do it for the rest of her life. I wrote her a goodbye note then started cutting over my whole body. It hurt so much but it would feel better soon. Everything started going blurry and then black. I heard someone screaming I tried to open my eyes but it wouldn't let me I recognized the voice. Natalie. I felt so bad now but I feel so painless right now. I heard sirens. Then I waited. Then I heard someone yell that I'm not breathing. I open my eyes and see everything. I stand up but. I can see myself. My human self. I guess I'm dead? I see Natalie. She was crying I felt so bad. She really cared about me that much. I have a choice I could go back and wake up to make her happy again.... Or I could just go to where I would be happy forever. I knew my decision.
Natalie's POV
--30 minutes later--
Mark and Jacob arrived Mark came over to me and hugged me and Jacob just stood there awkwardly. I released from the hug and stood up. I walked over to Jacob and threw my arms around him and cried. He was shocked at first but he hugged back rocking me back and forth in a soothing and calming way. I released from the hug and sat down and waited.
--1 hour later--
Mark: hey Nat I'm gonna go get some food you hungry?
Me: where are you going to get food?
Mark: chic fil a.
Me: a chicken sandwich with root beer please?
Mark: k be back soon
He asked Jacob what he wanted and then left.
Me: so..... Jacob?
Jacob: yeah?
Me: when I wasn't answering my phone... Mark said you were worried.
I look at Jacob and is cheeks are red.
Jacob: yeah I said that.
Me: did you mean it?
Jacob: well.... Mhm
I smile at him
Me: thanks Jacob.
--30 minutes later--
Mark comes back with the food and we eat.
--1 hour later--
The doctor comes out with a sad look on his face.
Doctor: uhmmm Natalie Thomas?
I stand up.
Me: me
Doctor: I'm sorry.....
I start crying.

He's gone
