Chapter 5

Natalie's POV
Me and Mario started walking home after a little while. When he was on top of me I though he was gonna kiss me. I kinda wish he did... but oh whale😂🐳
Mario: I had fun tonight.
Me: me too
We got back to my house and I stopped and waited for Mario to open the door. I was seeing if he learned his lesson on how to open doors carefully and slowly. He did. He was about to open it but then he stopped and looked at me. I clapped.
Me: let's go in my window.
Mario: Kk
We climbed the tree leading to my window. But he kept going up.
Me: Mario where are you going my window is right here
Mario: just follow me!
I followed him on top of the roof. He layed down and I layed next to him. We looked at the stars. I saw a shooting star.
Me: Look! Make a wish.
Mario: what was your wish?
Me: I can't tell you. Otherwise it wouldn't come true.
We sat up and I got cold. Mario wrapped his arm around me. I looked into his eyes and he looked into mine. He started leaning in and so did I. I was so close I felt his breath but then someone had to ruin it!
Jacob: watcha doing.
I quickly backed away.
Me: nothing
Jacob: I'm not dumb!
Me: since when?
Jacob: sinceee--
Me: never yeah I noticed
He gave me a blank look
Me: oh, no comeback whoops!
Jacob: I'm gonna go back inside now.
Me: bye.
After he left I turned back to Mario.
Me: sorry Mario
Mario: it's fine. It wasn't your fault. It was little dumb Sartorius's fault!
Me: I'm tired lets go inside and go to sleep.
Mario: ok
We climbed back down and opened my window. We climbed inside.
Me: Mario I'm gonna go take a shower real quick
Mario: ok
--10 minutes later--
I finished taking a shower and quickly dried my hair. I saw Mario laying on the floor.
Me: your not gonna lay on the floor
Mario: but--
Me: Mario your my guest if anyone I should be sleeping on the floor. Get in the bed.
I flopped on the bed and Mario came in after me. He wrapped his arms around my waist. And then I fell asleep. I woke up in the middle of the night to something moving.
Me: Mario?
No Mario was still asleep next to me. It was a black figure. I was scared out of my mind. I lightly kicked Mario and he woke up.
Me: Sh! Be quiet Mario. Look!
I pointed towards the figure.
Mario: here follow me.
We crept into the bathroom and closed the door. Mario called 911
Caller: 911 what is your emergency?
Mario: there is someone in our house.
He gave them our address.
Caller: we have police on our way.
Mario: thank you!
After he hung up I heard banging on the bathroom door I squealed.
Mario: get in the bathtub now!
I crawled in there and Mario closed the curtains. I heard a gunshot of him trying to get in. I quickly texted Mark
Me: don't worry police are on their way!
Mark🐒😂: ok be safe I love you
Me: I love you too you be safe too hide under your bed with Jacob.
Then he shot again. The door was loosening. I started crying.
Mario: baby it's gonna be ok the police are gonna be here any minute now.
I nodded my head
He wrapped his arms around me.
I texted my mom.
Me: mom don't worry the police are on their way
Mom❤️: oh thank God! Be safe honey!
Me: I'll be fine mom I love you
Mom❤️: I love you too sweetie
Then I heard the sound I never wanted to hear. The door creaked open. I was silently crying into Mario's chest. Then I heard police sirens OH THANK GOD!
Police: FREEZE YOUR UNDER ARREST!
Me: Mario I thought we were gonna die
I said sobbing into his chest even more
Mario: but you stayed strong I'm glad we are safe... I'm glad your safe.
I smiled and he hugged me tight and I hugged back. Jacob Mark my mom and my dad came running into the room where we were hugging.
Mark: AWWW are you two like a thing or something?!
Me. N-no we aren't I was just scared and--
Mario: y-yeah
Mark: hmm ok?
I walked back to my bed and flopped onto it and fell asleep but woke up a little while later because Mario's arms wrapped around my waist... I smiled.
Mark's POV
I woke up in the middle of the night to gunshots. I got a text from Natalie saying the police were on their way. I was scared. Jacob woke up too
Mark: cmon we have to get under my bed
He was crying
Mark: wait why are you crying
Jacob: because I care about them I don't want them to get hurt! I know I don't show that I care about Natalie but I do! I don't like her that way we aren't even friends and I don't care I care about her if she died you would be sad and that would make me sad.
Mark: oh
We hid under the bed until we heard ,"FREEZE!" We ran to Natalie's room an saw her hugging Mario and crying into his chest. They are couple goals. But they aren't dating. I ship it! After awhile Natalie went to bed then Mario followed after her. Later when they were both asleep I crept into their room and took a picture of them. I looked at it. #GOALS! Gosh I seem like a stalker.... EH WHO CARES!
