Chapter 13

Natalie's POV
Hearing those two words,"I'm sorry...." Broke my heart into a million pieces. I fell onto the floor and bawled my eyes out. And Mark and Jacob were crying too but they were comforting me.
Nurse: DOCTOR!
The doctor rushes back into the room and I can hear them.
Doctor: no way.... It's a miracle! HES ALIVE! HES REALLY ALIVE!
Me: WHAT?!
The doctor rushes out of the room.
Doctor: he's alive he's just not awake yet.
Me: can I see him? PLEASE!
Doctor: yes yes come in!
I walk in and run to his side and grip his hand.
Doctor: now you need to understand that he might not wake up for a while... A few days, a few weeks, even a few months.
Me: ok just as long as he's alive and breathing I'm fine. Um can I have some time alone with him.
I say to mark and Jacob who had been standing there in shock. They nodded their heads and left the room.
Me: hey Mario, I know you probably can't hear me, but I'm still gonna talk to you. Just know that you are worth it and you should never change for anyone. And never let anyone get to your head because you are not useless or worthless. Just think about all those fans who thought they lost you Mario..... If you ever have any problems with cutting or suicide... Just come to me. I'm always here. Even if I'm mad at you still come to me. Im so glad you didn't die Mario. I lov-- like you a lot and wouldn't want to lose you.
I smile at him and stand up and walk to the doctor.
Me: is there anyway I can sleep in the bed next to Mario?
Doctor: yeah sure thing!
Me: thank you so much!
--2 weeks later--
I haven't left the hospital for 2 weeks and we have to keep postponing our meet and greets. I mean we aren't gonna let all those peoples money go to waste. I feel like today is different. I feel like today Mario is gonna wake up.
Jacobs POV
Natalie has not left Mario's side for 2 weeks straight. It's crazy! She just reallyyyyy likes him. I wish I had someone that felt that way with me. I sit down and watch Natalie have her little talk with Mario. She does it everyday. She's waiting for Mark because she never wants to leave the hospital but she needs clothes so he goes to the hotel and gets her some. Then she walks over to me and sits down next to me.
Nat: hey
Me: hey, how was your talk with Mario?
Nat: good.
Me: thanks.
Nat: for what?
Me: for treating me nicely. And your like a friend to me now. I've honestly always wanted to be friends with you because we have so much in common.
Nat: me too.
Me: huh?
Nat: Sartorius I only acted like I didn't like you because I was mean and I'm jealous.
Me: jealous? Jealous of what?
Nat: you of course! Your fans love you and support you and all I get is hate.... I'm just sick and tired of all the hate!
Mario: don't let the hate get to you like it got to me. I almost lost someone I cared for.
Nat: MARIO! YOU'RE AWAKE!
She started crying and ran over and hugged him. I felt a tinge of something. Jealousy? Was I jealous of Mario and Natalie's relationship? I walked over to Mario and smiled as a tear rolled down my cheek.
Me: glad you're awake bro.
Mario: thanks.
Natalie went to get a nurse and I talked to Mario.
Me: so how's You and Nat's relationship?
Mario: great!
Me: she didn't leave the hospital at all while you were here.
Mario: how long was it?
Me: 2 weeks
Mario: aw she's so sweet
He got teared up I could tell.
Me: how did you find someone like her?
Mario: what?
Me: how do you feel that she cares about you so much.
Mario: I feel cared for and loved even though we are just teens we love each other in a friendly way for rn. I just feel... Special I guess.
Jacob: I wish I could find someone like that
Mario: trust me you will.
I smiled at him.
Natalie's POV
When Mario talked I felt a shiver go down my spine and I just broke down crying and ran to him and gave him the biggest hug. I ran to go tell a nurse and when I did she ran to the room and started talking to Mario. I was walking back when someone called my name. It was Mark.
Mark: Natalie! Come I have your clothes-- were you crying
Me: Mario's awake
Mark: he is?! I missed it?! Here's your clothes!!
I caught the clothes he chucked at me and watched him run to the room. I went to the bathroom and changed into (pic in media) then I went on Twitter. #PrayForMario was trending. I smiled
Me- I'm so happy to say that Mario is awake now and I couldn't be happier😊😊
I instantly got tons of likes and retweets. I smiled at how my fans built up over the weeks. I walked out of the bathroom and then someone covered my eyes.
Shawn: guess whooo???
Me: Shawn
Shawn uncovered my eyes
Shawn: yeah I should've disguised my voice.
I laughed and then gave him a hug.
Me: so what are you doing here?
Shawn: well I just came to give you these cookies.
He pulled out chocolate chip cookies and gave them to me. I smiled big.
Shawn: your favorite
Me: how did you know these were my favorite?!
Shawn: Mark told me
Me: wait you know Mark?
Shawn: um yeah
Me: well okay thanks for the cookies
Shawn: how's Mario?
Me: he woke up a few minutes ago.
Shawn: that's great!
Me: well I got to go. I'll text you later.
Shawn: okie dokie see ya
He hugged me then left.
I went back to Mario's room and saw him filling out papers so that he could leave. After the nurse left the room I threw my arms around Mario again and cried into his chest.
Me: I missed you
Mario: I missed you too baby girl.
I smiled as he rubs his arms on my back calming me down.
Me: promise me something
Mario: what is it?
Me: promise to never do this to yourself again.
Mario: I- I don't know--
I threw my face into his chest and started bawling
Me: please Mario.... Please.
Mario: what do I do if I have suicidal thoughts?
Me: imagine that every time you cut yourself. You were cutting someone you love. Now please promise me you won't do this again.
Mario: I promise.
I smiled and kissed him.
Me: I missed you so much.
