Chapter 15: War

Mady POV

To say I was a little scared is totally wrong. I was freaking out. I had a hold of Bella's wrist so tight I'm surprised I didn't break it.

Two vampires, a male and female that looked like they were leading had stopped right in front of us. Bella was shooting daggers at both of them and looked ready to charge but kept her cool. These must be Edward and Alice. From his penny looking hair, I see where he got the name Penny-head, to her short black hair and high fashion. She was looking me up and down and then wrinkled her nose as if in disgust. Which I don't get because I'm wearing pretty much the same thing as Bella but instead of having my hair down in curls like her it's up in a pony tail.

"Don't even try ED-WARD it won't work, you should know that about me." Says Bella. I frown. Then I remember Edward can read minds and so can Bella because its something that she has to replicate others powers. I smirk. He can't read any of our minds because Bella has them shielded for the whole fight.

Edward huffs. "Shield." He mutters. Bella smirks.
"So your actually going to fight me?" Asks Edward. Bella's mouth twitches.
"Of course because no ones going to hurt 'my' family." She says with a bit of force in the 'my' part. Edwards mouth goes into a thin line.
You know if I wasn't vampire I'd be wishing for popcorn right now because this is about to get interesting. Edwards eyes look around at her family she has brought and finally land on me. He smiles. And let me tell you it was not the normal 'why who is this? she's so adorable' look. No it was more like 'oooo now who is this and how can I use her to get Bella back' look. I quickly let go of Bella's wrist before he notices how I'm clinging to her.

"Who's this?" Asks Edward, bitterly sweetness in his voice. I wrinkle my nose. Idiot. Bella's eyes flicker to me and then back at Edward.
"She's a Volituri guard. If you had stayed longer you would have heard." She says, venom in her voice. Edward and Alice step back and Bella goes into a fighting position. Watching her me and Jasper, who is on the other side of her, follow. Everyone else follows us.

Amusement flashes through Edwards eyes before he grabs Alice's hand and raises the other hand as a signal and the newborns run toward us. Over the past few hours I have learned most of Bella's powers so I know that about 25 of those vampires will be turned to dust in about the next second.

We wait and watch as the first two rows of their newborns turn to dust. The look on Edwards and Alice's were priceless I swear I wish I had, had my phone to take a picture. As if reading my thoughts I see a flash of light to the side of my vision. I look quickly to the side and quickly face back forward. It was Emmett. He took a picture with his phone. What a nut.

Edward comes out of shock and the rest of the vampires, like 40, come charging at us. This time we charge at them too. Being able to out smart them we take them out pretty easily. Bella looked like she was in a freakin movie and war was going on around her and she didn't even know it as she walked through the newborns and those around her burst to dust. I smiled. She was like my hero, mentor, mom and best friend. She said I was like another daughter to her too.

I turn to see where she was walking and saw a red head vampire. Victoria! Of course she said she wanted to get her, especially after what happened to me. I turned and got out of the way just in time as I saw a newborn come running at me. I flipped over him and kicked him where the sun don't shine and sliced him to pieces.

We only had so many newborns left you could actually see around at the greenery and not just a bunch of bodies because they had turned to dust by the weapons or Bella. Speaking of Bella I looked around and saw she was messing with Victoria. Jasper, Emmett, Rose and some of the Volituri were finishing the rest of the newborns and Carlisle, Esme, Renesmee and Jemalie where protecting a frightened newborn girl who looked to be about the age of 14 or 15 maybe. Edward and Alice where M.I.A.(For those of you who don't know it's missing in action:) Everyone started gathering in a group and questioning the newborn.

Bella had just burned Victoria on the stake and was checking to make sure we had everyone and they were ok. At least she got to burn someone on the stake, I just don't think she went dancing around her. I'll have to ask. I was about to start walking over when someone put their hand over my mouth and knocked me out. KNOCKED ME OUT! I didn't know that could happen to a vampire.
My world went black.

I opened my eyes and I found myself in a small dark room. In the middle was one small twin sized bed. I looked around for any windows for escape or for any sign of where the heck I was. There was a door but it was locked, of course.

The door opened and I went into a fighting stance realizing the my katana has been taken away. I cursed lightly under my breath as three vampires walked in. I growled as I recognized two of them to be Edward and Alice. The third look almost like Bella but less pretty. Edward smirked at me and I just gave him a death glare which he actually coward back for a minute!! Ha!

"Welcome." Says the vampire girl I don't know.
"Where am I?" I ask.
"You are deep in the woods in a cabin far away from civilization and....... Bella." Says Edward. I laugh in my head.

"Not to bright are you?" I ask. He frowns. "You just told me your exact location, not just in a cabin." It's my turn to smirk. He huffs and Alice smacks him.

"ENOUGH!" Says the Bella look alike. "Now." She turns back to me.
"Who are Bella's closest friends?" She asks. How should I know I only know like a few people. Its not like I've known her my whole life or anything.

"What are you going to do?" I ask.
"We are going to gather as many of Bella's friends as we can so we can get what we want easier." Says Edward. Hmm blabber mouth I see.

"What do you want?" I ask.
"We want buenlneakdbshek." Alice sticks a hand over his mouth and smacks him.
"Edward." She hisses. Edward stops and Alice drops her hand.

"ENOUGH!" Says the Bella look alike again. She turns back to me again. "Answer my question who are the closest people to Bella?" I gulp. When I don't answer she grabs my wrist and pulls it behind my back hard. I grunt but don't give in.
"ANSWER ME!"
"Um Renesmee, Jemalie, me, and the Cullen's." I say quietly.
"Jasper I think is closer." Says Edward. Bella look alike nods.
"Write those and that down then. Thank you my dear." She lets me go and they walk out of the room. I stand up and sigh as I walk over and sit down on the bed. It squeaks as I sit. I'm so sorry Bella. What have I done?

"So your Bella's best friend eh? How is she?" I gasp and spin around to see someone standing in the corner.

What do you think? Who's the voice? And what's Edward and Alice's plan? And who is that other vampire with them?
