Chapter 11: News

Bella POV

"Well I think we've got it all and are ready to go." I hug Carlisle while Sarren shakes his hand and Kanin just nods.
"Lets get a move on already would ya." Says Kanin. I glare at him.
"Goodbye Carlisle I'll let you remember me this time and you'll see me real soon." He raises his eyebrows.
"Really?" I nod.
"A few times yes then I'll stay with you and your family." I smile.

We step out of the lab and I touch the wall to bring up a portal. We all step through and are back in our time before you can say 'Cullen's'. I step out of the portal with the others close behind. When Sarren steps out last the portal closes.

I start walking to my door. When I reach it I take an unnessisary breath and open the door. Everyone turns to look and freeze when they see its me. Their thoughts and emotions are going crazy. Renesmee is the first to break the awkwardness. She runs and jumps on me giving me a big hug.
"MOM!" She yells.
"Hello dear." I laugh. I'm then crushed by everyone else.
"Bella!"
"Bella!"
"Grandma Bella!" I just laugh as everyone hugs me.
"Um, guys?" I ask. Everyone backs away and looks at me. I look at Carlisle and he nods. I nod back.

"Did you find it mom?" Asks Ness.
"Well." I twirl my hands together. "Yes and no." Her eyes wide a bit and she murmurs "Oh."
"Did you get Carlisle to help?" She asks. I'm about to answer but Carlisle beats me to it.
"Yes I did but could not really help much but Sarren got it." He smiles. I smile back.
"Can't someone please tell me what is going on?" Asks Rosalie. "Because the only people who seem to know what is going on is the Volituri, Carlisle, Renesmee, Jemalie, Bella, her brother and sire."

"Oh I'm Jemalie your granddaughter." Says Jemalie jumping up and down. I pick her up. She has me and Ness's eyes with light brown hair like ours but lighter of course. I smile.

"I know I've been watching you." She smiles. "Have you been practicing your gift?" She frowns.
"I have a gift?" She asks. I nod. Her face lights up.

"What is it?" She asks jumping up and down in my arms now. I smile.
"You can control things with your mind. Thats why when you got mad at Emmett he went flying over into the wall." I say gesturing to the dent in the wall which I fix with the flick of my wrist.
"You've also got witch blood which is common in our family." She jumps out of my arms smiling like a cheeky monkey.

"So, so does that mean I'll be able to fly?" I nod. "Yippee!"
"Ah how come I can't get to fly?" Murmurs Emmett. I laugh.

I look back at everyone else. I look at Sarren.

"You sure it will work?" I ask. He nods.
"Positive." He answers. I take a deep breath and look up.
"Well we went back in time and the only reason Carlisle knows what's going on is because where we went in time had Carlisle in his first stages of newborn. So we kinda helped him a bit and he helped us." I look down and rub my neck a bit. "What he helped us with was a cure."
"What kind of cure for what?" Asks Jasper.
"A cure for vampires." I says slowly.
"What's wrong with us?" Asks Emmett. I look at him, my face sullen.
"Vampires, we're dying out." Everyone freeze's and looks at me wide eyed.

Someone bangs on my door. Without turning away I flick my wrist and the door opens. Alec comes flying in and stands next to me.

"Bella, Janeshe'sdying!" He says. I break my gaze from the still shocked Cullen's and look at Alec.

"Say again." I say. He looks frantic and try's to pull me with him.

"Jane is dying! It's happening!" Its my turn to go wide-eyed. Renesmee and Jemalie are by my side in a flash and we're rushing out the door with everyone right behind us.

We burst through Janes door to see her lying on the bed looking horrible. When Jane sees us she starts crying (well as best a vampire can cry) and reaches for my hand. I let her take it.
"Bella! Don't let me die please!"

Well what do you think? Do you think Janes going to live? And how long do you think the cure will last? Or will it really be the end of vampires!!!???
