This entire thing is from Noelle's POV, therefore I'll have to add Noelle's popular friends, but those people will not be a part of the mainstream cast.
This is a one-time thing, so don't get confused with the new names.

Noelle's POV
"Noelle!" my best friend; Belle sings, rushing over to give me one massive hug. "Where have you been all this while? I miss hanging out with you!"
"Sorry, Belle! I've been busy with my other friends." I say, guilty. I haven't been able to spend any time with my best friends, mostly because I've stayed with Dan and the others.
"Honestly, Noelle, I thought you weren't ever going to talk to Dan and Grey?" Izzy sighs. "You two don't even like each other!"
I shrug. "Things are fine between us."
"Fine, but he doesn't like you." Claire says, frowning. "It's so clear he doesn't like you."
"I know, I know, but that doesn't mean I can't try to be his friend again." I say, defending myself.
"Take one look at him and tell me what you see in, Dan." Belle says, turning me so I can see Dan walking to his locker.
Today he's wearing a denim button down shirt and has it open to reveal a white V-neck shirt. As usual, he's got his black skinny jeans, but for a change he's wearing a dark purple beanie.
It doesn't go with his outfit at all, but somehow he manages to look adorable in it. When he reaches his locker, Olivia's there waiting for him. She seemingly compliments his outfit, because he smiles at her.
It's nothing like the smile he'd give me back when we were dating. That one was special. He didn't let anyone else see it, other than me. Which is why he rarely smiled.
Nowadays, he's smiling more than ever and I guess I can only thank Olivia and Mark for that. Their inputs have made Dan smile more often.
"Noelle?" Belle asks, waving her hand in my face. I snap back to reality and sadly smile at her.
"I love him, Belle." I whisper. "How could've I gotten over him?"
She looks confused. "Did you say something?"
I shake my head rapidly. "No, no. I just said Dan looks cute today."
"He looks cute every day." Claire jokes, gazing at him. Us four have been friends since the beginning of high school and helped me with Dan. Claire actually knew him back in middle school too.
They weren't friends, but she had a crush on him back then. I'm pretty sure she liked when we were dating too. Even now, it's obvious she likes him, but can't get close to him.
After all, Grey is protective and apparently, so is Mark. Well, that's what Olivia tells me anyway.
"I just can't believe you hang out with those people." Izzy scowls, looking at them too. Grey, Mark, and Jacob have joined Dan and Olivia and it seems like they're all teasing Dan.
"They're amazing people." I murmur, smiling to myself as Mark pulls Dan in for a hug. Dan squirms before kneeing Mark where the sun don't shine. I giggle, but stop when I see my friends staring at me wide eyed.
"What the hell's wrong with you, Noelle?" Izzy demands. "You used to sneer every time you saw Dan and now you're giggling at him?"
"What happened to the girl who'd trash talk him every day?" Claire asks, pouting.
