Riley's POV

It's been about a month since my mom's funeral. I haven't went to her grave yet and I don't think I will for a while. I'm still living with Niall. The boys and him have been doing interviews, promos, and recording a new album. It gets kinda lonely around here now. It's been a year since Niall has came back into my life. I can honestly admit that I never thought I would forgive him. Things have been going well lately. I was home alone and I heard the door open, which shook me out of my thoughts.

"Hey." He said nervously. Something was wrong.

"Hi." I muttered.

He walked into his room and shut the door. I decided to knock on his door and see what was going on.

"Come in." He muttered.

I walked in and sat down next to him on his bed.

"You know I love you right?" He asked.

"Of course I do." I said.

He smiled at me and looked away. He grabbed my hand and squeezed it.

"Is everything okay? Is someone hurt? Are the boys okay?" I asked nervously.

"Everyone is fine and yes I'm fine, but I have something to tell you." He said.

"Spit it out Niall." I commanded.

"We're going back on tour in about a week." He said.

I pulled my hand from his and sighed. I dropped my head to my lap and sighed again. Tour. That was the reason we broke up in the first place and now he was leaving again. I know it's his job, but that doesn't make it any less painful.

"Say something." He said breaking the silence.

"I'm not really sure what to say." I muttered.

"Are you mad?" He asked.

"It's your job." I said avoiding the question.

I got up and gave him a fake smile.

"Have fun." I said.

I walked out of his room and decided to leave for a while. I needed to clear my mind. I called Cat and asked her to meet me at the park. She was there when I arrived.

"Everything alright? You sounded upset on the phone." She said.

"He's going back on tour." I said.

"Shit. What are you gonna do?" She asked.

"I don't know. He asked me if I was mad, but all I could say was it's your job. Everything is starting to repeat itself." I explained.

"Riley, this isn't fair. I know you love him, but you know just as well as I do that him leaving will destroy you all over again. What if he breaks up with you again? You can't let him hurt you again." Cat said.

"I know. I don't want to lose him again." I sighed.

"You need to tell him that. Right now. Go home and tell him right now!" She shouted.

I hugged her and began jogging home. I needed to tell him how I felt. I got to the house and opened the door to find him sitting on the couch.

"Your back." He said.

"Look, we need to talk." I said.

He tensed up when he heard those five words. He knew what was going to be said

"I love you and I don't want to lose you, but I can't go through what I went through last time. I can't let you hurt me like that again. Maybe we should bre-"

"Come with me!" He exclaimed.

"What?" I asked.

"Come with me on tour. Come. Just please don't finish what I know was coming next." He said.

"Niall, I don't know if it's a good idea." I said.

"Please. I really want you to come with me. Please?" He said sadly.

He knew I couldn't resist that little puppy dog face he was flashing. Or those eyes. He knew just how to win me over.

"No. No, I'm not going to come with you." I said.

"What?" He asked as his voice cracked.

"I'm just kidding babe. Of course I'll come!" I laughed.

He picked me up and swung me around and kissed me.

"I promise you won't regret this!" He shouted.
