Prologue
**Rosalie's POV**
Okay, so I used to be in a relationship with the guy. So what? He broke up with me just before he moved out of the country to live with his uncle and aunty. I think it was of some scholarship thing, but I'll never know because he never told me why he was leaving in the first place.
He's name's Benjamin Davids, by the way. Or Ben, or Benny. Depends what mood we're in. Anyway, he left me a year ago now, and if I must say, I've been doing pretty well without him. But he's still way too good looking for his own well-being.
By the way, the name's Rosalie Stryder. I like to be called Rose, though, or Rosie, just putting it out there. But hardly anyone calls me Rosie anymore. I'm eighteen years old, and loving every second of it. How much better could my life get? Let's see...maybe I could do a lot better! Who knows what'll happen?
