**Still Rosalie's POV**

Later that day.....

Ben insisted I go back to my apartment to freshen up and get something to eat. Apparently, he doubted my ability to stay in heels for a long amount of time.

He said he'd come by later though, after their parents come to stay with Sara. I don't know why their parents weren't by Sara's bedside sooner. I guess they were travelling again, but Ben said they'd be there so he could come spend the rest of the day with me.

I walked into my apartment to find Zac standing in my living room.

"Hey!" I greeted him happily.

"Why are you dressed like that?" He asked me curiously.

"Nice to see you too." I muttered undeneath my breath.

"Rose, I asked you a question. I just want to know why you're dressed like that."

"I just went out for dinner last night, then I ended up staying with them overnight."

"Who were you with last night?"

"It was just a friend. Nothing to get worried about."

"It was Ben, wasn't it?" He asked.

"You're not mad, are you? I swear, it's not what you think. Nothing happened between us." I replied.

"Rose, it's okay. If you say that nothing happened, then nothing happened."

"Okay, well, thank God for that."

"Were you gonna get changed?"

"Yeah. I needed to grab something for breakfast as well."

I started walking toward the stairs when Zac said something that really caught my attention.

"There's Starbucks in the kitchen for you." He informed me, smiling.

"Thank you!" I called out as I ascended the stairs.

Man, if Starbucks delievered, I would definitely be a morning person.

A few minutes later, I was back downstairs and digging into my Starbucks delight after changing into some skinny jeans and a tank top.

"So what did you want to do today?" Zac asked me.

"I don't know. But I'm going out with a friend later." I answered him.

"You're hanging out with Ben again, aren't you?"

"We're just friends. Nothing's going on between us, I swear there isn't."

"That's fine, Rose. I don't mind that. But what I do mind, is that he's still your ex. It sort of sounds like you're hanging out with him more than you are with me."

"Then we'll spend time with each other tomorrow. I'll promise you that."

"Okay. When was Jess coming over to help you pack?" He questioned me.

"The day after tomorrow." I informed him.

"Did she call you up about John?"

"Yeah. John doesn't seem like the type to get worked up about something like this, though."

"They never do."

"You've got a point there, but still. They're so good together. It'd be bad if they were to break up."

A little while later.....

Zac had just left my apartment and Ben would be here any second now. And sure enough, he was.
