Her Life Story.

Chapter 22- Carnival

  Matt lead Eve to a pumpkin booth. They had all sorts of pumpkin treats. There were pies, cookies, coffee, cake, and pumpkin slices. Tammy, who worked there, gave them a smile.
  "You should really try the cake. It's so good. Nothing like what mom used to make, but boy, it's good. The coffee sure gets me excited" she giggled
  "No one can fully experience the carnival with an empty stomach" Matt smiled
  "Sure. Two please" Eve smiled back
  "Coming right up" Tammy handed them two paper plates stacked with cake. "On the house. No points needed"
  "Thanks" they both thanked her. They decided to walk around before doing anything.
  Eve's eyes were wide open. She looked amazed at all the rides, games, and happy kids running around. It was like heaven for children. Never has she seen so many people smile at once. She herself was smiling, and she wasn't doing anything.
  "Come on. I want to play some games before going on the rides" Matt rushed. He pulled her over to the dart popping ballon game. "I bet I can win you any toy you want in one game"
  "Mm I want that penguin, but you'll probably loose" she betted
  "You're on" he started throwing, but he really sucked at it
  "Move aside" Eve stepped up. She had never done this before. All she new was to hit the balloons. Soon she had hit plenty to win a big one. "Which one do you want"
  Matt pointed to a bear "That one"
  "Here you go" the man at the booth handed them the teddy
  "That was super easy Matt"
  "Well doll looks like you just have better aim"
  "Bet you like that teddy though" Eve smiled. "Hey there's Amber" she waved to Amber. She was with the rest of her girl group.
  "Wanna join us. We are heading to the big slides" May invited
  Matt frowned, but Eve smiled "Actually Matt was going to show me around some more" his face lit up again
  "That's fine" Amber smirked

  They went over to a ride called the Big Drop. It was so much fun for them. Even though Matt almost lost his pumpkin cake. They tried many other rides, except the rollercoasters.
  "I'm going to get us some more tickets. I'll be right back" Matt said leaving Eve by the photo booths
  She looked around again. So many people where smiling and laughing. Why aren't people that happy back home? She heard a whisper. She turned around and someone pulled her into a booth.
  "Waaaaa" she yelled sitting down
  Sir Trent put a finger over her lips. "I think we should ditch Matt and go to the rollercoasters. What about it Saguaro"
  Eve thought this over in her head. I really want to ride a rollercoaster, but I can't leave Matt. Can I?
  "You have to choose now" Sir Trent put money in the machine. They posed.
  "Ugh why" Eve posed oddly
  "Because they are already loading up my favorite" they did big smiles and jazz hands
  "Uh fine" She agreed while doing a wacky pose
  "Let's go" with one last pose he pulled her out and snatched the photos
  "It's called THE FIRE STORM" he pulled her up to it. Her heart dropped. It had so many loops, drops, upside down parts, it was crazy. "Let's get on"
  "Uh you sure" she hesitated
  He laughed "You aren't scared Saguaro. Are you? If so, I'll protect you"
  "No, just peachy" they sat in the front seats. She looked all over. Her heart raced. Sir Trent looked over to her.
  "If you get scared you can hold my hand Saguaro"
  "Ha in your dreams" she tightened her grip on the handle bars. It slowly made its way up. She winced
  "We could hold your hands up. It's way better" he told her. She gulped. They were at the top now. "Hey let's count down"
  Everyone started the count down. "10"
The carts rolled forward "9" she winced
"8"
  "Maybe I should" she closed her eyes
  "7" they yelled
  "I can keep them shut"
  "6"
  "That's no fun"
  "5"
  "Well what do you suggest"
  "4"
  "You can always hold my hand"
  "3"
  "Ugh"
  "2"
  "Why would I-"
  "ONE" Eve quickly grabbed his hand as they plunged forward. They dropped down. She screamed, but she was actually enjoying it. It was so fun. She loved the fast ride. The wind was in her face. She felt the rush of excitement spread all over her. They did some loops, swirls, and she went upside down.

  "So what's next" Eve asked
  Sir Trent smiled. "Well we did all of them"
  "Man. It was fun though" She smiled at the ground
  Sir Trent looked up to Mr. Adams window. He saw Mr. Adam with an urgent face. Sir Trent nodded. "I have to go. I'll see you later"
  "No wait" Eve tried to stall, but he ran off into the shadows. She turned around and was met by Bailee and Casper.
  "Eve! Matt's looking for you. He says he left you at the photo booths, and when he came back you were gone" Bailee nagged like a mother
  "Are you alright" Casper asked like a father. I totally ship you two right now. Eve smiled
  "I'm ok guys. I just started wondering that's all"
  Casper frowned. "It seems like you do that a lot"
  "Here let me take you to him" Bailee lead them to Matt
  "Eve! Where have you been? I've been looking for ages" Matt asked like a worried brother
  She laughed "Guys I'm alright. Like I said, I was just walking around"
  "I'm just glad you are ok" Matt hugged her
  "Ok enough you two" Bailee played
"Whatever" Eve joked
  Casper and Matt looked at each other. "We heard about the great view from the farris wheel. I was thinking we could all go tomorrow" Casper put it out there
  Eve nodded "I don't have anything else planned"
  "Than its settled. We will meet you two there at seven" Matt made it official
  "Ok. Now let's go have fun"

  Eve slumped down on her bed. From all the walking and playing around, she was exhausted. Her eyes couldn't stay open. She stretched and yawned.
  "Get some sleep princess. After all, you did run to all the rides" Matt looked at Eve
  She yawned again "I think your right. Wake me up early ok"
  "Sure thang sweet pea" he saw her close her eyes and fall asleep.
