Chapter 27- Part four/ Suprise!

The clock struck twelve. Midnight. Tuesday morning.
Raven starred at Amber with disbelief to what she said.
Casper stuttered words Bailee could only try to understand.
Eve didn't know what to say to Matt at the moment. She didn't have to think for long, when the whole building shook. Earthquake maybe? Eve held on to Matt. For a moment it got seriously quiet.

The movement of the building shook Raven into action. "Look over their"
Amber turned to the direction Raven pointed to. A lady with died red hair stood on the outside of the base.

Bailee and Casper ran to Eve and Matt. "What's going on" Bailee whispered
"Calm down every-" Mrs. Phoenix tried getting people calm. An explosion went off sending everyone to the ground.

"Run" Amber yelled, but Raven tripped over her dress.
The lady noticed them on the roof. She jet packed to them. "What do we have here" she snickered picking up Raven
"Leave her alone" Amber punched the women in the throat causing her to drop Raven
The lady tried grabbing her again, but Amber kicked her gut. The lady was hunched over on the floor.
"Run" Amber yelled. Raven had tears rolling down her cheeks. She nodded anyways. Then ran back down the building.
"You little brats" the woman got up

Raven burst threw the dance doors. "Everyone needs to evacuate NOW"
Teachers started making lines. Kids ran around in mass panic. Eve looked around. Why hadn't she sensed it? Amber battled with the red haired lady.
"Saguaro are you ok" Sir Trent piped up
"Where's Amber" Eve shouted
"No time we have to go" Mr. Adam shouted back. Another explosion went off. This one created half the building to shift off. When the ashes settled down, the lady appeared in a black suit.
"Oops did I interrupt something. Let me set the mood" she lit up two bombs throwing them into the rest of the building. She laughed uncontrollably to herself. Eve recognized that dyed hair anywhere.
"Where's Amber" Eve heard Raven yell at the lady. Panic dawned over Eve as well.
"Oh that little pest. I got rid of her, but she's not important. I'm here for something or rather someone. I'm looking for Eve Saguaro. Recognize the name?" she turned her head to me
"Take Eve to the portals" Mr. Adam shoved Eve to Sir Trent. She blushed a little but quickly shook her head
"I can't just let you fight alone" Eve protested
He smile. "When was I ever alone" he turned to Matt, Casper, and Bailee. They all smiled back.
"No time to waste Saguaro. We need to go" he grabbed her hand making her blush harder. One second they were in the ball room, the next they were in the underground part of the building. Kids ran around in panic. Eve looked around. Marco pulled May over. She had sprained her ankle. Jessie attended to Tammy. She had fainted earlier. Amber was still missing.
This is all my fault. I'm so sorry. Eve turned to Sir Trent, but he already transported himself back.

"I didn't introduce myself. The names Piper" the lady waved
"Leave" Mr. Adam gritted his teeth "we are never handing her over" "Where is she" the lady huffed
"You'll never get to her" Matt yelled
"She's our girl" Bailee launched herself to Piper with one fist forward. She was fast, but Piper quickly dodged and kicked her back sending Bailee almost off the building. Casper ran to her aid.
"Don't mess with my students" Mr. Adam levitated up with ease. He flew over to her and gave her a good kick to the face. She fell but quickly got up. Blood oozed out her nose.
  Matt came in for her, but Piper angrily flipped him over. She launched herself off the wall to Sir Trent. Mr. Adam tried using his stopping abilities, but then his power didn't work.

  Eve spotted Raven in the crowd of kids. Worried for Amber, Eve ran up to Raven. "What happened"
  Raven's eyes were red and she sniffled from time to time. Looking up to Eve she let out a small sob. "I don't know"
  "What do you mean"
  She rubbed her eyes. "If happened so fast"

  Piper grabbed for his hand. She caught it. Sir Trent, thinking of Eve at the moment, accidentally transported them to the portals. Half of the kids were still there.
  Raven and Eve ran up quickly. Sir Trent used his running ability to zoom to the girls.
  "What the heck Sir Trent" Eve bonked his head
  "Smooth" Raven mumbled
  "Ha ha ha. There you are. Come to Mama Piper" the lady laughed
  "Focus on her Saguaro" Sir Trent changed the subject
  "Mrs. Phoenix get the gets out fast" Sir Trent barked at the head mistress. She nodded still in shock. Kids ran straight into portals.
  Mr. Adam and the rest of them ran up to her. They looked pretty hurt, but nothing major. They lady tapped her foot.
  "Awe come on boys, hand her over" she stepped forward, they took a step back
  "Never" Matt yelled
  "Why would we" Casper followed
  She pouted and brushed her hair back. "This is no fun"
  "Sorry we don't entertain you" Mr. Adam shot back
  "Maybe, just maybe these will help" she threw darts everywhere. They each let out a beep when the hit an object. A top piece would pop off and colorful smoke came out.
  With the smoke floating around, Eve couldn't see. She called out Bailee's name. The gas got thicker and thicker.
  "Hi Eve" she heard Piper's voice echo around her
  "W-why can't you leave me alone" Eve huffed back
  Eve heard a little giggle. "Do you think this job is easy kid" then someone grabbed Eve's leg. She got pulled under the sea of smoke. Then she felt the hand grip tighter and swoosh. Piper threw her into a wall. Eve hunched over coughing out blood. She could feel her necklace working. Healing her, but also the tingly sensation came back.
  Angry Eve burst out of her shell. She slowly raised herself up. Then smiled like a horror movie possessed child. Piper actually stepped back a little. Grabbing a gun looking object attached to her side.
"Don't be scared now Piper" Eve saw the shaking hands of the lady. She could barely hold up that gun.
"I-I'm not scared. Came at me and I'll shoot you" she threatened
Eve laughed. "I'm too valuable to do that. You need me" Eve launched her self forward. She punched Piper into the wall. She picked her up by the throat and slapped her into the portals.
Piper stopped moving. The smoke got thinner. Eve could see all her friends. She targeted her eyes at Bailee.
"You again" Eve ran towards her only to be knocked down by another force. Mr. Adam lowered his hand.
Casper and Matt quickly ran up to her and tied her down. Eve struggled to let go.
"Calm down princess" Matt took the opportunity
Eve let out anger. "What did you say to me pretty boy. I can kill you with my hands"
"Woah she's on fire" Sir Trent picked up her wrist. Then touched the bracelet he gave her.
"W-hat are you doing let go of m-" she stopped, blinked, then looked around her. "Why am I tied up" she said calmly
"How'd you do that" Bailee looked from behind Mr. Adam
"Obviously he's using his powers mixed with an object that she cares about. It's common for special hunters to use this technique if they have anger issues" Raven scared them with the sudden answer
"I didn't know that" Bailee blinked
"Well maybe you weren't trained properly" Raven mumbled. Bailee rolled her eyes.
"We have to leave before Piper regains consciousness" Mr. Adam made everyone take a second glance at Piper
"Who's Piper" Eve asked
Sir Trent answered. "Great job Saguaro. You broke the portals"
"Uh sorry" Eve rubbed her head. "Seriously what happened"
"I have an idea" Bailee pulled out the same bag that took her and Eve to the base. "It will take us back to Eve's home town"
"Great thinking Bailee" Mr. Adam patted her back. "Alright then. Let's hurry up"
Half of them had already jumped threw. Only three people stood there Eve, Raven, and Mr. Adam.
"Girls you can go along. I'll stay here to call in the other bases. Maybe I can fix the portals somehow" Mr. Adam smiled
"Um ok then. Please be careful though" Eve smiled back
"You too Eve Saguaro. You are destined to have a great future, so no mistakes" he hugged her. "Take care of Trent will you"
"I sure will" Eve felt a single tear leave her face. Mr. Adam wiped it away.
"I'll be fine"
"I know" she cried. "Will I see you again"
"Of coarse" he let go of her. Then turned to Raven. "Good bye to you both"
"I'm not going with them" she hissed. Mr. Adam smiled. Then pushed her into the dark pit of the bag.
Eve's jaw dropped. "Did you just"
"Well some kids need a little shove" he winked. They both laughed and with one last good bye, Eve hopped into the bag as well.
She'll have a lot to learn, but I know she can make it. Her destiny is coming fast. Eve you must hurry to make a choice! Now what to do with y-.
When Mr. Adam turned around Piper was gone. He looked around frantically. There was no sign of the trouble making girl anywhere. Oh boy.
