Chapter 9- Midst and Erren's Revelation

I was hurt...

Pero alam kong mas nasasaktan siya sa pagkakataong ito..

"NO!!!" O_O I opened my eyes. I'm gasping for air, before I realized that I was already in the car and I only had a dream, a bad dream specifically.

I looked at Erren who is now seating in the driver's seat, before he parked the car at the side of the road for a moment. He turned at me and asked, "Are you okay, Nicole? Ano'ng problema?" he looked worried.

"Uh..no--none~!" of course I'm lying. "Just had a weird and bad dream.. 'Yun lang." I tried to force a smile. "Nothing to worry about..."

"Tss. What a liar..." and then he pouted at me.

I just turned away my eyes from him. Kasi sa huli, alam kong ako lang ang talo. Mahuhuli lang niya ako na guilty ako sa sinabi niya. After all, he really knows me well. Para bang wala naakong maitatago sa kanya, kasi bago ko pa itago.. alam na niya. xD

"Tama ako noh? ="D And right now you're gulity, 'di ba?" (O///O)

"Tss. Ano ba! Pwede ba mag-focus ka na nga lang sa pagda-drive. Wala akong balak maaksid--!" I shut my mouth, ayoko ng ituloy pa... "Geez..."

"So.. you've not yet moved on from that accident.. I see." he concluded.

"Erren, mahirap kalimutan ang ganung bagay."

"But Nicole, it's been more than a year now. Forever ka na lang bang ganyan? Tatahimik at irereminisce yung bagay na yun whenever you accidentally say words that can trigger you to remember that incident? Nicole.. matanda ka na. You should learn how to handle yourself, your feelings and emotions, ALL!"

"Yun naman ang ginagawa ko eh.. Pero kasi.."

"Kasi?"

"Kasi hindi ko kaya..." he tried to snatch a glance at me. "Everytime na maaalala ko yun, bigla na lang pumapasok lahat nung mga detalye sa utak ko. From the time na sumakay kami dun, hanggang sa time na iniwan niya ako.." nafifeel ko na unti-unti na namang bumibigat ang pakiramdam ko. "Erren, tanga ba ako? Am I really that fool?"

"What made you say that?"

"Kasi siguro.." I paused for awhile. "Kung hindi nangyari yun, siguro.. napigilan ko siya.. hindi niya sana ako iniwan. Hindi niya ako kinalimutan... At hindi kami, ako, ganito ngayon. Masaya pa rin siguro."

"Nicx.." he patted my head like a dog.. echosera talaga to si Erren eh. Panira ng moment. xD

"Ano ba! Hindi ako aso Erren..."

"But I want to treat you like one." he teased. "Joke. xD"
