Surprisingly, Kyle was actually laugh to be with. We spent the entire Saturday together and exchanged numbers. On the Sunday the gang and I had went shopping and once again, Monday was here.

"I hate this hellhole." Brook complained. I stayed quiet Nikki was walking into school, talking loudly.

"So anyway, I spent the entire weekend at Zach's place, it was really cool." she bragged to her minions. To think that this time last week she was sitting here next to me, while I talked about Zach...

"So are you guys, like, together?" one girl asked her, I felt myself tense as I waited in anticipation.

"Yup, he asked me yesterday." Nikki smiled before walking away. I felt my heart drop. It was official. I felt movement next to me as Brook got up and stood in front of me. She looked determined.

"Right, that is it! Alice you have got to stop sulking around every time you see Nikki or Zach, I won't let her walk all over you. You need to stick up for yourself." I sighed.

"That's easier said than done though. Last time I stuck up for myself I got landed with a months worth of detentions." It was Brook's turn to sigh. Jake joined in.

"We hate to see you sulking all the time though." I shrugged. How can they expect me just to act like nothing is wrong? The bell rung ending our conversation and lunch break. 

"You coming my house tonight?" I quickly asked, they all nodded before we went our separateways.

The end of the school day finally came but while walking out we overheard a couple of girls conversations.

"Who is that? I've never seen him before." 

"Who cares he's gorg!" 

We all looked at each other? Who are they talking about?

"Who do you think they are talking about?" Magenta asked, saying my thoughts out loud. We all shrugged and walked out the main exit. Straight away we saw who they were talking about. I frowned.

"Wow, they were right he is gorgeous, who do you think he's waiting for?" Imogen asked, I ignored her and walked towards him, the gang followed. I stopped right in front of him.

"What are you doing here Kyle?" I asked him, he shrugged.

"Thought I would wait for you, and see if you wanted to hang out." I was about to reply, but someoneinterrupted.

"Wait, Al, you know this guy?" Jake asked. I nodded.

"So? Do you want to hang out?" Kyle asked raising an eyebrow. 

"Well, we are going Alice's house but your welcome to join us." Imogen jumped in. Kyle nodded and we turned to walk away but someone stepped in front of me.

"Wait, you really know this guy?" Zach asked, his face unreadable. I nodded and stepped to the side, he copied me.

"Zach, get out of my way." I told him, not looking directly at him. He didn't move.

"How did you guys meet?" he asked. For some reason, that made me angry. How dare he act like ajealous boyfriend?!

"Why do you care? We aren't going out anymore, I'm not your concern!" I yelled at him. He didn't answer. I laughed. "Get out of my way Zach."

He grabbed hold of me and looked at me straight in the eyes.

"I really am sorry Alice. I still care about you." I laughed and moved my face closer to his.

"Bullshit." I whispered before trying to get out of his grip. "Let go of me." I warned him. He tightenedhis grip. "Zach let go off me!" I growled, struggling to loosen his grip. Suddenly his grip was ripped from me as Kyle pushed him out of the way.

"She said, let go." He spat, his expression was filled with anger. Zach glared at him and took a step closer to him. Before anything could happen Nikki ran up to Zach and pulled him back.

"Come on baby, lets go." she said pulling away from us, as they walked away Nikki turned back to look at me and moved her hand to her neck in a slitting motion. I laughed, before flipping her the bird and walking away.

The walk to my house was tense and silent. I stormed off in front, with Kyle besides me, the rest of my friends hung behind. As we approached my house, I noticed Tanya sitting on the step, on her mobile. She raised her head and stood up letting me reach the door. I smiled at her before letting us all in.

I closed the door behind us and headed to the living room, where I threw myself on the sofa, burying my head into the pillows After breathing deeply I looked up and saw everyone watching me.

"You okay now?" Magenta asked. I nodded. Suddenly Brook reached out and smacked me.

"Ouch, What the fuck!" I screamed.

"When were you going to tell us about the amazing sex god sitting next to us?!" she screamed pointing at Kyle. I laughed.

After telling them the story, and them laughing about my drunken behavior,  we settled down and watched a movie. After the movie, the guys took off, while Kyle stayed.

"Alice...?" Kyle started.

"Yeah...?"

"Where are your parents?" I froze.He waited patiently.

"Want something to eat?" I asked getting up.

"Where are they Alice? I've never seen them. Are you looking after Tanya by yourself?" He asked getting up with me.

"I think you should leave." I whispered, he approached me.

"I'm right arn't I, there is only you and Tanya." he stated. I pushed him away.

"Leave." He stood back and nodded. I watched him walk out the house. As soon as he was gone I plonked myself on the sofa. 

"Have your friends gone?" She asked me jumping on the sofa to sit next to me. I nodded.

"Need help with your homework?" I asked, she smiled and showed me a giant pile of books. I sighed.
