Chapter 24
Alice’s POV
“Ugh, I can’t wait to we leave this hell hole.” I complained slamming my locker close
“Oh come on it’s not that bad.” Magenta smiled. I stared at her.
“You’re joking right?” I asked her, one eyebrow raised
“I don’t want to leave this place. It will feel weird not coming here all the time.” She told me. I shook my head. In about two months we will be leaving school and going separate paths. I can’t wait to leave; school hasn’t always been a picnic for me, in fact most of my worst moments happened at school. But I guess my life is just one huge drama.
“Personally, I can’t wait to leave!” Brook joined in. I nodded along with her as we headed to the cafeteria.
“Only problem is the exams. I have ten!” I complained.
“Bitch please. I have thirteen and one is over two hours long!” Brook complained along with me. We have just received our exam timetables and were furious with how many we have.
“Haven’t you got Mr Bate’s lecture next?” Jake asked, sitting down at our table.
“Yeah.” I sighed. I’m not looking forward to that at all; I have no idea what I want to do in the future.
“I’m doing a beauty course.” Magenta told us. Of course she would be, Magenta can make anyone look like a model in a matter of minutes
“I might do Photography. I mean we had a look at the course and it looks really good.” Jake told us.
“That would be great for you, you always manage to take pictures of rare moments.” Brook grinned at him. I frowne to myself. They all knew what they were going to do, except me.
“I’m defiantly doing childcare.” Imogen said.
“Want to work at a nursery or become a primary school teacher?” Jake asked. Imogen always changed her mind about which one she wanted to do the most.
“Primary school teacher. I’ve finally decided.” She laughed. I smiled slightly and went back to picking at my food.
“What are you doing Brook?”
“Business.” We all laughed. Brook would be perfect for that. If she became a big manager she would be great at getting people to do things for her.
“What about you Al?” They all turned to look at me. I shrugged.
“I don’t know.”
“You have no idea?” Magenta asked. I could hear the shocking her voice.
“Nope. No idea.”
“What about something creative? I mean you’re incredibly artistic. You can also write, draw, and dance. I mean there must be something?” Jake thought.
“I don’t know.” I sighed. Brook opened her mouth but was interrupted.
“Hey, erm, can we sit here?” We all turned and looked at Liz and Nikki, who were standing next to our table and fidgeting furiously.
“Whatever.” Imogen waved her hand. They smiled slightly and sat down. Awkwardness filled the air.
Nikki cleared her throat. “So heard you’re dating Kyle Johnson.” She said.
“Why do you care? Are you planning of stealing him away from her again?!” Brook accused, they both flinched. I smirked to myself. Honestly, I was glad they felt bad, because at the time they had made me feel worse.
