Maya did not know what to think after Joshuas friend Wonwoo told her that Kai isn't who she thinks he is. It didn't get out of her head for the past three days, that's for sure. Of course, she spent the last three days exploring more of Hawaii alongside of Joshua. Today was going to be extremely different though.

Today her Aunt decided to go to the woman who is getting married, and they're hosting a dinner party at their house. Basically Kai's house. Was Maya excited? Those aren't quite the words to fit the situation. Would much rather be climbing into a volcano, is more like it.

"Maya what is taking you so damn long?" Joshua inquires, putting his head into Mayas' room.

"Hey," Maya put her hand up. "I am a female. It takes time to look good." Joshua rolled his eyes, and let out a sarcastic chuckle. "To look good? You mean to impress Kai?"

Maya threw the tissue box at Joshua's head, and he made a grunt noise when it came it contact. "Pah-lease. That's the last thing I would do."

"Are you still scarred from what Wonwoo told you?" With that question, coming out of Joshuas mouth; Maya laughed. "I'm not scared. I'm just confused. Who knows if he's even talking about the same guy?"

"Well why didn't you ask?"

"I was too shocked at the time. Now go away and tell your mother that I'll be out there in literally a minute." Maya mumbled and shooed Joshua away. Joshuas laugh echoed in the hall as he left the room.

Maya sighed as she looked in the mirror. She ruffled her hair a bit more, then stood up, grabbed her things, and left the room.

Since the house they are going too, is well, a bit more fancy than most houses. And that whole family dresses classy. They decided to wear more of what they would wear to a dinner. For Maya, a simple pink champagne dress that stopped just mid-knee, and paired with white wedges would do just fine.

She didn't understand why she was so nervous. I mean, coming down to think about it, it's only a boy who could be a totally cool person or totally a psychopath? As if there's nothing wrong with that?

As Maya headed outside to the car, her uncle stopped her. "What are you doing?" Maya chuckled, she pointed to the car. "The car is over there." Her uncle shook her head.

"They're sending a limo for us." A grin plastered his face. Maya made a shocked face towards her uncle. She had never rode in a limo before, so she had a small rush of excitement, but she couldn't help but think. How rich were Kai and his Dad?

A black sleeked limousine pulled up in the driveway as she pondered. The driver got out and smiled at the whole family and opened the car door for them. Her Aunt Karen went in first then Joshua, Jewels, Maya, and lastly the Uncle Jack following quickly after.

Halfway there Joshua spoke up. "This is crazy. I mean I knew they were rich but they can hire like twenty limousines to pick up all their guests?"

"Well Kai's Dad is the CEO for a Mega Corporation. I'm pretty sure he's one of the top people." His Mom answered him.

"They're making bank then." Joshua replied. Maya made a light laugh. She agreed with his statement. "Maya, if you don't ever fall in love with Kai. You should marry him for his money."

This caused Maya to snort and a huge smile to grow upon her face. "First of all, I'm not gonna fall in love with him." The girl put one finger up, another following soon after. "And second I'm not a gold digger."
