I've never been fond of perfumes,
Lingering potions,
And different smells.

One sunny morning
As the trees are swaying
And their leaves so green
As I am walking
To where my favorite ice-cream shop is located,
You walked past me;
You in that silk-made sweater
And hazel eyes
You with that hypnotizing scent.

It's like the drizzly ground
With lemon moisture
And green scenery
Like the earth
Heart-warming and suffocating
Both at once;
Your scent is what I needed.

I've never been fond of perfumes,
Lingering potions,
And different smells.
However, your scent
Well your scent,
It held me.

Held my attention,
My innermost sense of smell
And I couldn't
Tell myself to take a step further away
Because I want to be beside you.
Inhale that toxic
Of fresh aftershave
Scent of yours
Is all I want.

Forgetting the ice-cream
I want to scream
And get your attention
As well.
