Do I write
Because
I want to
I have to
And I need to?
Oh why do I write?
I write because
I enjoy it
And I get to
Face my fears.
I write to have an
Escape too.
I write because words
Are like a beautiful
Masterpiece to me
And these plots,
Or rhymes,
Are like a necessity to me
I write to inspire people
Myself included;
I write to encourage people
Myself included;
And I write to make a difference
While doing what I love.
I write because
It makes me happy,
It makes me sad too,
It feeds my soul,
And it nourishes my mind.
I write because I can and I want to.
