Faces can be pleasing,
Memories will be fading,
Looks can be deceiving,
And personalities will be shouting.
But through everything,
My shadow will be glistening,
As my love will keep burning,
And maybe I'll stop doubting.
I'll keep giving
And someday I know I'll be receiving,
For all of these struggling
Will be worth it and rewarding.
A legacy in the making.
