Legal Necessities: I do not own this, just like Cole doesn't own the skills it takes to cook proper food.

Aias P.O.V:
We: Kai, Jay, Cole, Zane and I, were training at the monastery.
But our training was interrupted when Zane used his Spinjitzu to freeze the entire training course.
I looked at Zane with admiration in my eyes.
" How cool!" I said exited for him to do it again, but the other ninjas didn't feel the exact same way as I did.
" This roof isn't big enough for the five of us. Kai growled.
" Correction: This roof isn't big enough for him." Cole corrected.
Jay nodded, staring at Zane. "It's like he's in his own world. I bet he can't even hear us!"
He said that just as Sensei Wu approached us.
" Sensei, Zane's... weird." Kai complained.
" What is weird?" Our Sensei asked. " Someone who is different, or someone who is different than you?"
"No, Sensei. He's weird weird." Cole assured as Kai and Jay slowly nodded.
" We like the guy. He's really smart. He's just..." Kai sighed " A little off sometimes..."
Sensei glanced at us. " Zane is a brother and brothers are often different. I should know." Sensei said, a hint of pain in his voice.
It seemed like he wanted to say something more, but then the doorbell rang.
" Mail!" We all shouted excitedly as we ran to the door.
We all got our letters and packages, except for Zane.
I looked down at my letter and felt bad for Zane, so I put it in my pocket, and ran over to him.
" Hey Zane." I said, as I stood beside him.
Zane looked up. " Well, hello Aia." He smiled sadly.
" How come you never hear anything from your parents?" I asked him, nodding my head against the now leaving postman.
I could sense that the other ninjas were listening to our conversation.
Zane shrugged. " I don't remember my parents. I've been an orphan all my life."
I looked at Zane, my heart aching and eyes filled with compassion.
" You mean you've never had a home?" Kai asked.
Zane shook his head timidly.
" The Monastery is your home now." Sensei sympathized as Zane left, me following quickly behind.
" Zane?" I asked him, as I ran up by his side. Zane looked up at me once again.
" Can I help you make dinner?" I asked, trying to make him happy
Zane just smiled thankfully and then, together, we made dinner.
*Mini timeskip*
" Dinner is served." Zane said politely, as he placed a turkey on the table.
I quickly followed behind and quietly sat on my chair.
At first Kai began to chuckle, and then all, except for me and Zane, burst out laughing.
" What's so funny?" Zane asked confused, looking around to see if he'd missed anything.
I was confused as well. " Yeah, what is it?"
Nya laughed wildly. " Zane. You're wearing a...even I wouldn't wear that."
She barely got her words out, pointing at his pink apron.
Oh, now I saw why they were laughing, even though I didn't think it was funny.
" You laugh because I take steps to ensure I'm clean after cooking?" Zane asked, still confused.
I didn't listen anymore. I was mad at them for being mean to Zane. He was our brother after all!
But I didn't say anything . I just silently walked out of the room, not taking care of the other staring at me.
Soon I was standing outside, gazing at the stars.
I've always loved the stars; My father and I used to explore them on nights where neither of us could sleep. Then he would sing me a song and I would fall asleep in his arms...
The thought about my dad made my heart ache, but I couldn't cry. I just couldn't.
I was about head back inside when I heard Zane come through the door.
I pulled myself together and approached Zane.
I was nearly by his side when he gestured for me to be quiet. I gave Zane a confused look, but then I saw It.
In a tree nearby a gray falcon sat on a branch watching us.
Then the falcon started dancing. I wiped my eyes, thinking I was going crazy, but apparently Zane saw the dancing falcon too. And I couldn't help by giggle, when Zane copied the bird and started dancing as well.
Soon Zane, the falcon, and I were having our own little dance party, but suddenly our falcon friend flew of, right into the forest.
Zane and I just looked at each other, barely for a second, before we both ran after our mysteries friend.
*Time skip*
I couldn't believe my own eyes when I saw where the falcon had lead us to.
Here, in the midst of the forest, there were a treehouse fortress. But not just any fortress: the place was filled to the rand with snakes!
My eyes were so occupied by the fortress that I didn't notice our mysterious little friend dying away.
" Thank you, my mysterious friend." Zane whispered behind me.
