"So who you texting?" My dad says from behind me. Causing me to jump.

"What's with you always scaring me," I say holding my chest.

"Maybe it's something you're doing."

"You're the one walking up to people."

He shrugs his shoulders walking towards the fridge. "But seriously who's the lucky guy that your texting."

"Who said it was a guy."

"You just did."

"No, I didn't. I never said I was texting a guy."

"So you are texting a guy." He says raising an eyebrow.

"Yes wait no."

He chuckles. "He from school?"

"I don't really know. All I know is that his name is Lex."

"Lex Mcman."

"I don't know his last name I just met him like five hours ago."

"You should facetime him or whatever you kids call it."

I playfully role my eyes. "Why so I can creepily ask him for his last name because my dad wants to know if he knows your family."

"Yeah, that's basically why we are calling him."

I laugh."Alright fine."I ring Lex a couple of times before he finally picks up.

"Damn baby girl you missed daddy that fast," Lex says with a smirk across his lips.

"Actually, My dad had to ask you a question."

I switch the camera facing my dad. Luckily he was too busy stirring the pasta to hear what Lex said.

"You never told me your dad was the John Roberts," Lex said surprised.

My dad turns around before walking towards me again. "Aye, Lex." He says sitting next to me.

"How do you two know each other?"

"Well, Lex's father is Rick. The guy in the story that I always tell you.His Grandfather is the one that trained us."

"I knew I remembered you from somewhere when you said your name earlier," Lex said.

"Well, I'll leave you too alone." My dad says

"You don't want to talk to your friend." I jokingly said.

"If he plays his cards right. Maybe I'll get to see more of my 'friend'."
