Trust me. That's all I could keep repeating in my head from what Chris said earlier. How you supposed to trust someone that screwed you over in more ways than you could imagine.

Someone you thought you could trust before. Broke it in less than a second. Shattering your​ life within a blink of an eye. Without them even knowing it.

I shake my head trying to loose my train of thought. Trying to get my mind off of him. And just then. Just when I thought I stopped thinking about him he calls my phone.

How did he get my new phone number I don't know. I don't think I want to know how he got it either.

"Amber?"

"No, you reached Humpty Dumpty."

He chuckles​ in the phone. "So I was thinking."

"When are not."

"Ha ha very funny. But I was thinking. Ugh, how do I say this you around this weekend."

"You realize I have a boyfriend right."

"Oh shit Lexi right."

I roll my eyes. "Look just because your​ buying​ me an apartment and paying my rent doesn't mean I'm falling for you. This isn't some ninety romance comedy."

"Okay Woah, chill I just thought you would come shopping with me for Katie's​ furniture."

"And you need me for furniture shopping."

"Yes."

"Um, I suppose why not."

"Don't you trust me?"

There he goes again. How am I supposed​ to answer that? How can I just trust you again just like that?

"Alright yeah, whatever. If it's just shopping and nothing else."

I smile before clearly my throat not making it obviously. "So your coming?"

"Isn't that what I just said?"

"Uh yeah well night Amber."

"Night Chris." She ended the call.

Amber can call it what she wants this is one hundred percent a date. And I couldn't have been even happier. I set my phone aside slowly drifting to sleep.

I was awoken by someone buzzing my intercom. I thought it was some UPS guy which he could have just dropped it off at the desk.

After about another eight minutes of it constantly going off I finally got out of bed walking out my room over to my front door.

"You could of just- Sky!?."
