So I was apartment shopping with Chris. And I know your probably gonna say that it's bad.

But hey if he's willing to be in Katie's life why should I prevent it. She's would just ask about him in the future.

"So what about this one?" Chris asked looking at me as I shrug my shoulders.

"I like it but it far away from everything." I've complained about everything little thing at each apartment.

It was either too small or too big. Far away from my dad and school or to close to the city. Whatever it was I would complain about it.

Chris sighs. "Katie is expected to be coming home sometime this week and we need to find you an apartment."

"I know I know it's just I don't know none of them I can see myself growing in."

"Alright well, there's one more to go to so let's go." He walks towards the door as the realtor follows behind us.

I'm not trying to be stubborn it just all the apartments we've seen today hasn't really caught my eye.

As soon as the realtor open the door I knew this was the one. I didn't even need to see the rest the view was all I needed.

It was a two bedroom two and a half bath. Open concept with the two bedrooms up the stairs. Overlooking the bay which was perfect.

It was on the smaller side but considering that it will just be Katie and me I didn't need much really.

"Sooo?" Chris hesitantly asked.

I turn around with the widest smile. "It's- it's perfect."

He sighs in relief. "I already saw mine which is two floors above you. Now all you need to do is sigh off."

"I mean it's perfect but do you not see how nice this is. I doubt I can afford something this nice."

"That is why I'm paying for it well at least your first year."

Not gonna lie I was a bit shocked when he said that. I mean considering the shit he's given me I wasn't expecting him to do this really any of it.

"I'm sure staying with my dad until I get my degree will be fine. There's no need for you to do that."

"Listen Amber I know I've been a complete asshole dickhead to you."

I snort. Yeah, you think.

"But I can at least try to get better for the better."

"This whole thing is crazy."

"I know but trust me?"

Holy shit after rewriting this five times Wattpad FINIALY let me update something way overdue.

Hopefully, that doesn't happen again idk what happened but every time I updated it would only do the first 100 words.
