 "Alright. You ready man?" Sam asked as he carried the gurney carrying Roy DeSoto

"Sure" He said putting his helmet on his legs

"Just think, you'll be driving a new squad" He said quietly

"Heh God. Good thing someone's always thinking" Roy said straining from his ribs. It was more than two broken.

"Hey, someone's gotta say it" Sam said climbing on up the cliff. At that point, they just started to lift them up, debris from the cliff was starting to fall

"OW!!"

"You alright Dawson?" Sam asked his partner. They were old enough to be father and son

"Yes dad"

"Very funny man" Sam said. Roy laughed at the two and thought about his relationship with Johnny. Their's was like that, except more brotherly. And then there's Miranda. She was basically a sister anyways.

When they were up, they lined the gurneys up next to each other so they could be near each other. Dr. Joe Early took Miranda, who was in the worst shape, then Brackett took Roy and Morton took John.

"What's the verdict?" Cap said as he stood over the three

"Can't tell," he said looking over the destroyed people who were still alive, "Let's get them in their own ambulances and go" Brackett said. Luckily, there was three ambulances anyways.

"Alright" A number of men said. Chief Conrad went with John since he was in the best shape and questioned the 25 year old. Mike and Marco went with Miranda and Captain Stanley and Chet went with Roy.

"So.. What the hell happened?" Hank asked Roy

"I........ Don't........ Even.......... Fucking... Know" Roy panted as Brackett messed with his broken ribs. Hank grabbed the bridge of his nose and sat down on the side bench. Chet was at Roy's foot.

"The break in the guard rails was pretty intense." Chet said quietly

"I think......... The engine.... quit and we ....were...... coming........ down.... the hill and kept going!" He huffed out. Brackett put him on oxygen and told them all to be quiet, trying to save Roy's energy and sanity.
