I was on my way to pick up my daughter Leilani from school. She's only four and has the worst attitude ever. Her mother who is no longer in her life had that same attitude. That's why I moved on to Ally. Leilani wasn't fond of Ally or her friends. She already hated everything at such a young age.
I picked her up and she was really quiet, which was strange. She fell asleep in the car which wasn't something she did ever because we lived six minutes away. I figured she was just tired. Ally and Lauren gave her a bath while I made dinner.
"Y/N she must not be getting enough sleep. She started falling asleep in the tub" Lauren said holding her. She wasn't hostile at all. She set her in her high chair. We adults sat down for dinner. In the middle of dinner she started crying. "Me duele la cabeza" she cried. Ally took her out of the high chair, examining her face and head. Nothing appeared out of the ordinary. "My god she's burning up, she must have a fever" Ally said.
Ally gave her some medicine and sat with her at the table. "Su caliente" she whined. "Sé bebé, comer para que pueda ir a dormir" Ally said. She fed Leilani some of her food, then took her up to bed. I finished and went to check on them. Ally was reading her a bedtime story, my heart melted seeing Leilani accepting Ally.
