Removing my headphones from my ears, they filled with the loud voice of my coach. She was telling us that we were five minutes from away from the school. We'd just came back from our baseball tournament and I was aching to see my family and girlfriend. Arriving shortly, everyone stood up grabbing their belongings.

Strutting gleefully in my baseball uniform, I walked with my team inside the main building. Knowing my mom would be late to pick me up, I walked through the crowded hallway in the direction of my girlfriend's locker. She stood at her locker, grabbing textbooks for her next class. Dropping my bag behind her, I playfully hit her on the ass with my bat.

"What the f-," she started, turning to punch me. Grabbing her fist, she gasped pulling me in for a hug. "I missed you," she smiled, kissing me gently. "I missed you too, I'm glad to be back," I said. The bell rang, a frown spreading across her face. She hugged me again, sadly dismissing me with a kiss. "No, just come with me, my mom won't mind," I quickly spoke. "I can't, babe. I have a test this period," she replied.

Holding onto her arm, I picked up my bag dragging her outside. Walking up to the car I tossed my bag in the front seat, getting in the back with her. "Mom, Mani's staying the night. Is that cool?" I asked. "Of course," she replied. She dropped us off because she had to go back in to work. We both lay on the couch in each other's arms, kissing each other every few minutes. Seeing how much we'd missed each other hurt my heart. How the hell was I gonna tell her we made it to finals?
