Kodie pov*

I was dressed and ready to go it was Monday and my birthday was Wednesday I still didn't have any plans but it was whatever. Khalif only spent one night in jail and I guess his mom bailed him out my head was still a bit swollen but it was ok. I was gonna stop by the shop for a second then go handle a few things.

"August just calm down" Chris said to me as he sat on the couch with his hand sin his head "no this nigga disrespected my family" "it's not worth stooping to his level or going back to your old ways look just sit down and relax aight? It's gon be handled the right way" "Chris tell me how would you feel if another nigga touched Jas? Or put they hands on kae?" "yeah Is probably be pissed off too...but I would calm myself down first" I stopped pacing back and forward and breathed slowly "alright man." "You good?" "Yeah i'a be straight " "that's my nigga no I gotta go to this doctor appt with Kae ill stop by later." We dapper each other then he left I sat down thinking I wasn't gone kill the nigga but don't mean I couldn't talk to his as sand im pretty sure he was out today. I grabbed my keys and left out to my car now all I had to do was find out when this nigga stay at but before I did all of this I had to handle a few things...a little surprise.

I picked Jasmine up she wasn't going to the doctors appointment today because she was still thinking about a lot"have you guys still been going to therapy" "yes and it feels like we get somewhere but the mext day it's the same shit...but I don't wanna talk about Chris it's your week bitch!" "Oh yeah I almost forgot" "soo you know we have lots of planning to do today right" I sighed rolling my eyes as I turned the steering wheel "Jas I'm not even in the mood to celebrate anymore" "botch you don't have a choice we are tuning up,for,your 20th birthday okay!" I shook my head she was crazy "I'm not taking no for an answer" "shouldn't you be thinking of some ideas for you and chris for Valentine's Day" "I'm leaving Chris..." "What...jas?" "KODIE,don't try to change my mind I love him but I can't..sometimes you gotta do what's best im gonna tell him tonight at dinner" she looked out the window and I know she was hurting I rubbed her shoulder rand continued to our destination.

I pulled up to this nigga house and waited outside a bit I got out and banged on his door I waited a while and banged a few more times louder. "WHAT WHAT WHO IS IT-----oh August can I do something for you" he said crossing his arms leaning in the doorway "As a matter of fact yeah you can you can start off by telling me WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING PUTTING YO HANDS ON KODIE" "Aha so you her body guard now look what happened between me and Kodie is between us and what we have" "HAD MY NIGGA HAD YALL DONE" "oh so you trying step back I I see what this is ill ask Kodie for myself...besides it was just a little fight" "that got your ass locked up and got charges pressed against you" "man whatever get off my doorstep" "no problem but one last thing before I go?" Anger filled me and i clenched my fist swinging my arm back and hitting him with full force knocking him to the ground and instantly I started throwing punches after to punches to his face I heard a young female start screaming and saying she wa a gonna call the police Khalif finally got up and tackled me to the ground punching me a few times but it felt like a little ass kid punching me I grabbed him by one of his dreads and punched him a few more times the police got here and tried to get us to stop wrestling but we didn't so they gazed a nigga. "AHHHHH FUCK" we both screamed falling to the ground shaking. I felt one grab me and handcuff me "wtf get off me" "you ok baby I saw the female holding on to Khalif helping him up I shook my head not only did I hurt her but this alien head ass nigga tried to hurt her too. I got pushed in the police car and they slammed the door and sped out the driveway i Ben here too many times before. When I was sitting in my cell the officer came and told me I get one phone call Chris wasn't picking up I remember he was with Kae so I tried calling Kodie since she was one of the only numbers I remembered.
