CHAPTER 2

Hi! Here's a new chapter only in Fitz's POV.

Sorry it took so long to update. Been busy trying to edit new chapter for my first story - The Unexpected Blessings of Love.

For those who haven't read them please check it out, okay?

Again, thanks for everyone for reading this story. I know my writing was never gonna be as good as others. This is just a hobby I decided to take up on.

So, please forgive me for anything that you may not understand. That's why I need your comments and feedback to help me to become better at writing.

This chapter is dedicated to LUXURY123 and iam_insomniac. And also to those who've decided to take a chance reading my stories, especially this one. You know who you are. I really appreciate it.

FITZ

“Hi, mom. What’s up?” I asked after checking the caller ID on my iPhone.

“Fitz, where are you? Remember, you are to be at home for dinner. No excuses. We have guests tonight.” My mom stated matter-of-factly.

“I’m at Sean’s playing video game. Who’s coming?” I inquired while half-heartedly crushing my best friend at Call of Duty on his Xbox. “Boo yah! Dude!!! I fucking won!” Oops…

“Fitzgerald Olivier Grant! Watch you language!!!” A loud yell coming from my mom on the other side of the line. I was so toast. My mom hated vulgar language. My best friend Sean on the other hand punched my shoulder and snickered at me giving me a look knowing I was in trouble for my foul mouth. I rolled my eyes at him, having him to laugh even more.

“Sorry mom. So,  who’s coming to dinner?” I checked my watch and it was already four o’clock; that means I had about two hours to get home for dinner.

“Just your grandparents, your uncles and your little cousin. Dinner at 6:30. Don’t be late!” My mom said, loudly.

“Okay. I’ll be there. I promise.” I said, evenly.

“Good. See you then. Bye.”

“Bye.” The call ended. I looked at Sean with his face giving me a quizzical look. “What’s with the face, Sean?” I asked.

“Oh, nothing.” He then slipped himself down further on the couch lying down and placed his head in my laps closing his eyes. I ran my fingers through his hair only to have him moaning and groaning. I chuckled. He liked when I did this to him.

“Come on. Just spit it out, dude.” I said in a flat tone.

He exhaled, exasperated. He then opened his brown eyes boring into my light blue ones. “Nothing, man. Just thinkin’ about how happy your uncle together with his husband. Kinda jealous, you know. Sometimes I just wonder what it’d be like for me to have a boyfriend. That’s all.” He shrugged.
