CHAPTER 3

Hi! Woot woot!!!

Finally I was able to rewrite the whole Chapter 3 for you my dear readers.

Sorry it took so long for me to update. I just needed it to go the way I wanted it to go.

Without further ado, I present to you Chapter 3 for this story.

Good thing it is not a long as I had in mind, but it should suffice for now. Can't give away everything now, do I? Hehehe.

Don't worry, though. Currently I'm writing the next chapter for my first story 'The Unexpected Blessings of Love'. For those who haven't read it, go check it out, yeah?!

CAYDEN

I woke up without a dream, of course, but only with a dread feeling. I don’t like this one bit; going to a new school that is. I get why the adults in my life are doing this for me, for my future they said, but I don’t have to like it at all. Being a ward of the state means for now I have to do what is asked of me. And that sucks.

Two weeks had gone by in a blur. Mostly I felt like a robot. Getting up, going to work at a local café, off to the library afterwards and then going back home to sleep off the exhaustion. Luckily for me I didn’t face any stupid jocks from school that had their missions to beat the crap out of me any chance they got. I still had the bruises on my face from last weekend that were still there, but barely. They didn’t look too bad now, though. Give it another week or two and they’ll disappear for sure.

Although, I had to admit the thought had crossed my mind that one last time they found me this time I’d retaliate and fight them back the best I could. One last hurrah, if you will. What are they going to do then, huh? I’d be off to a new school in a town two hours away and I no longer have to face them at that stupid school any more.

After eating lunch and cleaned myself with one last hot shower, I gathered all my belongings and waited downstairs for Mandy’s dads to come and pick me up to take me to St. Andrews. I could have gone there myself by taking a Greyhound bus and a cab, but last weekend Mr. Rogers had told me that they’d take me there themselves since he knows the school and his family is having a Sunday night dinner at the headmistress’s house. Lucky me. Yay! Note the sarcasm there. Yes, I can be sarcastic and bitchy if I want to. I have the rights to.
