CHAPTER 30
(7,120 words)
HE couldn't do it anymore. He just couldn't stay inside that damn hospital any longer. He needed to get out of there. He just needed to do something... Something that he could do, could control... Something that would make him feel better about everything. Especially for himself. That was why he was here.
About a mile from the hospital.
At some point into the night, he had fallen asleep on the chair. He didn't want to sleep. He had wanted to stay awake. Unfortunately, his exhausted body had betrayed him.
He had only woken up because of the noise the group of doctors and nurses was making when they came into the room to talk to Cayden. Unfortunately for him, he just had to sit there in silence, taking in all the things those medical professionals had to discuss with the sweet little man, before they proceeded to take Cayden somewhere else to prep him for the long surgery.
Most of the people in the group had left around midnight. Back to their own homes to rest and sleep in their own warm, comfortable beds. After all, they all had been kind enough to stay for as long as they could. Even when they didn't have to do so at all.
The problem was things slipped out of his control so fast they made his head spin, giving him throbbing headaches. For example, one minute he was asleep, taking the much needed nap. The next, Cayden was taken away from him, from whatever left of the group.
If he could be the one to donate part of his liver, he would've done so already from the moment that option was available for him.
Regrettably, no such luck. Sometimes things in this world didn't work the way you wanted them to.
Cayden, the sweet and very determined little man that he was, had become the perfect candidate for the risky solution to the problematic situation at hand. Those doctors kept mentioning to him that they weren't even sure this surgery would be a success. Five percent chance of success was likely, they'd told the sweet little man, and to all of them present in the room at that moment.
Unluckily for those doctors, time was running out. It didn't help much that Cayden was being Cayden; the sweet and noble little man who was very determined to save his foster mother. It didn't take even a second for him to convince the doctors that this was the right thing to do. The only thing left to do.
Instantly, he laughed. He just laughed like a crazy person. It was so ridiculous it was just so funny to him. The things that were happening...
Cayden, the sweet little man, was more than just sweet and noble. Man, that boy was also so damn stubborn! So fùcking damn stubborn! When Cayden got out of the very risky surgery, breathing and healthy, and in one piece, he'd promised to himself that he would place the stubborn boy across his laps, bare ass with both pants and underwear yanked down, and spank that perky delicious ass of his so hard the sweet little man wouldn't be able to sit down for a week.
Yeah. That sounded about right.
Fùck! Goddamn it! Fuck, no!!! He shouldn't have thought about that at all. Fùck! Now that thought just made him hornier than he ever really was.
That mental image of Cayden's bubble ass, red and ripe with the smattering of his handprints... Fùck! With the images of Cayden moaning and groaning to his heart's content just made his erection even harder in his shorts. Goddamn it! He was fùcked thousand ways to Sunday. That's for sure.
