Chapter 18, To Find The Dragons

Lucy's Pov, 

Gajeel got a little hurt and was going crazy until Levy got to his side. Mira was checking Yukino and Kagura making sure they was well. "Just need to find their dragons and we head back to the temple" Natsu hugged me from behind. He started to snuggle his face into my neck making Yukino and Mira smirk at me. I felt my face burning up as they soon giggled. "How are we going to do that?" I then asked as Natsu moved his head and looked at me with his smirk. Levy soon walked over with the map and a small knife.

"Kagura we will do the locating spell with you first" Levy then smiled as Gajeel walked over with a limp. Kagura only nodded as Levy placed the map down and grab Kagura the knife. Levy started whispering as Kagura cut the tip of her finger letting one drop of blood land on the map. She then moved it away as the blood drop started to move around. I watched shocked and a tad impressed as Natsu put his head on my shoulder. The blood drop moved to a part of the mountains staying there. "What on earth is Rogue doing that?" Kagura asked upset.

"Who knows" Laxus answered as Mira and Yukino hugged. They seemed pretty close. Everyone soon got ready to move out, Yukino and Kagura took the wagon while the rest of us went on our horses. Natsu and I were on Storm as we headed toward the mountains. My head ended up going on Natsu's shoulder as I felt pretty tired. I felt Natsu kiss my forehead once again as I looked at him with a smile. I couldn't help but smile. "We will make camp once we reach the mountains" Levy called out as Natsu looked at me. 

"If you need too, lean on me and rest Lucy" Natsu whispered as I felt my cheeks burn up a little while I only nodded. I wasn't sure how to reply, I wanted to stay up it was still midday after all but I felt tired all of a sudden. I didn't understand why.  

Time Skip Brought To You By Red.... Lucy's Pov Still, 

We finally reached the bottom of the mountains as the sun was nearly down. Nastu and Gajeel went to get firewood while Laxus looked around for food. Kagura and Levy were setting up tents with Mira looking through her bags. Yukino and I set up one tent, took us nearly an hour to do just one. "Looks like we aint the best of this" Yukino sighed rubbing the back of her head. I just giggled as Kagura and Levy walked over. Levy looked tired also. "So time to tell the girls" Levy looked at me as I looked at her a little confused. Then it hit me.

I was a lost princess. I nearly forgotten. Levy started to explain who I was and about the destiny that was placed out for us. Honest truth I was confused with it all, it confused me a ton. "I really need to lay down before I pass out" I whispered as Yukino, Kagura and Levy looked at me worried. I then rubbed the back of my neck forgetting I would worry them. "You do look pale, MIRA BRING MEDICAL" Levy soon screamed worried as I shook my head. "I just need some sleep" I mumbled as Mira rushed over, putting her hand on my forehead.

"Your not heating up, so sleep should just be all she needs" Mira then looked at the others who let out a sigh of relief. I then shook my head before getting up and going in a tent. "NIGHT LU" Levy shouted as I laid on the blanket. I was confused on why I was so tired. I had been through days without any sleep before. Was it the fear I had when I thought Zancrow killed Natsu? I knew emotions could make one tired. "Hey guys" I heard Mira nearly shout as my eyes slowly closed. I turned to my side as just laid there. I couldn't fall asleep.

That was a pain. I couldn't hear the others talk as my mind went to many places. Why did 'darkness' want me? What was this destiny? Would the king... my father let me stay with Natsu? As I laid there I felt someone come into the tent. The air around got warm as I some how just knew it was Natsu. I felt him lay down next to me as I put his arms around me. Pulling me close to his body. "I know your awake Lucee" Natsu whispered as I smiled a little. "So?" I whispered back as he kissed where my mark was. I smiled more as I turned to face him.

I opened my eyes to see him smiling at me. "You ok?" Natsu asked as he put his forehead on mine. "Im fine Natsu" I answered with a slight yawn at the end. Natsu chuckle a little as I cuddled up to him. My eyes slowly closing. "Night Lucy" Natsu whispered as I slowly fell to sleep. My mind dreaming about a better tomorrow.... For everyone.....

Meanwhile Natsu's Pov, 

I smiled watching Lucy sleep in my arms. It felt nice having her there. I wanted her to stay in my arm. Lucy looked like she was having a peaceful dream. I slowly closed my eyes listening to the sounds around the tent. I could hear Kagura and Gajeel fighting outside with Levy trying to stop them. I heard Mira and Yukino gigging at them also. What stood out the most was Lucy's breathing. I  focused only listening to it as I slowly fell asleep myself....
