Chapter 19, The Shadow Dragon

Lucy's Pov, 

I woke up to hear Levy and Yukino joking around outside. I looked to see Natsu hugging me close to him. I smiled as he looked cute in his sleep. I tried getting up but had no luck. Natsu had a tight grip. "Natsu" I mumbled, poking his cheek making him start to wake up. He then looked at me and smiled, closing his eyes again. "Morning Lucee" Natsu sounded half asleep making me giggle. "I need to help the girls make food" I poked his cheek again as Natsu snuggled his face into my neck. He wasn't going to let me go was he? 

I shook my head a little as I somehow manged to get out of his grip. I wasn't sure how I did it but I got up and walked out the tent to see only Levy and Yukino up. "Mira and Kagura are looking for a lake for water" Levy looked at me as I smiled nodding. I walked over to see the girls were cooking some meat. "Laxus caught a deer last night, I was very shocked to see him carrying it back" Yukino then explained as I nodded again. I helped them cook while the boys started to wake up and put the tents away. All us girls giggled at them.

Mira and Kagura got back as they rubbed the back of their necks. "No lakes near by" Mira informed us as we all nodded. Levy started to hand out food as Natsu sat next to me. We all ate before getting ready to move up the mountain. Levy was very excited while Mira wasn't looking forward to the climb. Laxus was teasing Mira while Gajeel laughed at Levy calling her 'Shrimp'. She hated the nickname as Natsu put his arm around me, pulling me close to him. I felt my cheeks burn up right away as I looked at him. "You ok Lucee?" Natsu asked.

"Im fine" I answered as Natsu smiled at me. I smiled back my blush most likely getting worse. Kagura walked over smirking. "You two close huh?" Kagura asked as I played with my hair, putting it in pigtails. "Like you and Rogue" Natsu replied with a smirk as Kagura's cheeks went a little red. She put her hand on her swords handle glaring at Natsu. "Your not as scary as Erza" Natsu whispered with a shiver making me laugh at him. Kagura walked off to the wagon over to Yukino. "No winding them up to much" I then ordered as Natsu nodded.

"Anything for my Lucee" Natsu replied making my face burn up even more. I couldn't help but smile more as we started our climb up the mountain. Natsu and I walked along side Storm. Levy and Gajeel walked along side Shadowmere while Mira and Laxus walked side Acorn. Yukino and Kagura were walking along side the horses with the wagon. "What you guys gonna call your horses?" Levy asked trying to make conversion. Kagura and Yukino started thinking as Mira gave out ideas. I listened giggling at some of the name ideas.

"Im calling this one brownie" Yukino petted her horse as everyone nodded. Liking the idea, Kagura was still thinking as we hit an abandoned mountain village. "Woah" all us girls whispered as the guys looked around. Natsu smelled the air as he started growling a little, pulling me close to him. "What?" I asked worried as I saw Gajeel and Laxus doing the same thing Natsu was doing to their mates. Kagura put her hand on her sword while Yukino looked around. What was setting off the dragons? I was confused as we looked around.

"A demon was here, not long ago" Laxus muttered upset as I looked at him shocked. A demon? Natsu looked more upset than the others did. He was part demon after all. Didn't like his other half? Levy then looked around. "Rogue is here somewhere, Kagura try summoning him" Levy then looked at Kagura who nodded, placing her hand on the shadow figure on her neck. We soon heard chains echoing around us as the noise came from a tower. "He could be in trouble" Kagura sounded worried a little scared shocking me a little.

She seemed like the type to keep her emotions in check. "Kagura, Lucy, Natsu and Gajeel will go up there while the rest of us find a building to camp in" Levy then ordered. We all nodded, not fighting the smartest person in the group. Kagura went first, Laxus second, me third and Natsu last. He stayed closed behind me, looking around slightly growling. Something else was bugging him. I could see it. As we reached the top floor we heard chains being pulled on. "ROGUE" Kagura shouted as the chains stopped moving. We reached a old wooden door.

Kagura kicked it down to show us a guy chained to a wall, staring at her shocked. "Rogue thank god your alive" Kagura rushed over with Gajeel as they unchained him. Rogue was a slim young man of average height with rather messy black hair, which almost reaches down to his shoulders, along with some strands pointing upwards on top of his head and was brushed to the right side of his face, covering it. He had red eyes with slit pupils similar to that of a snake's. Rogue had a thin scar across the bridge of his nose. 

Rogue was wearing a light-colored leopard-patterned kimono that only covered the right half of his torso, beneath which he had armour that was light in the chest but dark everywhere else; the neck of the armour coils around his own and fastens there appropriately, and his left arm is left uncovered at the shoulder. Around his waist was a very long sash that ties on the right side of his body and loops around the leftand held a design-adorned piece of white fabric in place over the top of his loose, black pants.

 Around Rogue's left forearm was a black band that has a white ring over the wrist; he completed his outfit with black ankle boots, within which his pants were tucked. "We got one of the twin dragons" Natsu cheered as I looked at him. "Twin dragons?" I asked confused as he looked at me and then smiled at me. "Rogue and Sting are the twin dragons, Dragons of Shadows and Light" Natsu explained as I nodded. That made more sense than me being a lost princess in all honest truth. We all soon helped Rogue down the tower as Yukino rushed over.

We got to a small building where Levy and Mira had a camp set up with Mira tended to Rogue's cuts from the chains while Levy explained the whole lost princess and destiny. Kagura then explained about where her and Yukino were taken making Rogue look extremely angry. He looked creepy that way. "Now we have to find Sting" Yukino sounded worried as we all nodded. We would find him.... For Yukino....
