Chapter 1

Amy: *stomping around worrying* ugh where is he!? Hes never late to his relax spot.

Sonic: *arriving* okay 5 minutes late should be enough time for her to be gon- 

Amy : SONIC!!!!!! *runs to sonic*

Sonic: oh no

Amy: I was looking for you! Your usually here on time I hope you're not getting slower! Haha I'm kidding around lets go on a a walk! 

Sonic: yeah that's um... hey you know I got to go, you know sonic things and ,y sonic schedule you know the things...

Amy: *in a confused tone* theres a specific schedule about you?

Sonic: Yes! Now I got to go bye! *he speeds off leaving amy in his dust*

Amy: that's the fifth time this week...

(at Amy's house)

Amy: *sighs* why wont he just hang out with me, I'm a perfect girl! *peaks at calendar that's filled with Sonics scheduled days just to fill in another* I'll check with him tomorrow again. *theres a knock on the door* maybe its him!

Rouge: Nope, just me (Rouge, Amy's friend) *sits on couch* you have to get him out of your mind sweetie I'm pretty sure his blue head won't be in this neighborhood.

Amy: But....its difficult, I can tell I'm getting closer to him! 

Rouge: *sighs* sweetie, I'm sorry if I'm being rude, but you have to stop thinking about him for at least half a day. I'm tired of seeing that weird calendar of yours filled with Sonics business. That calendar should be filled with you!

Amy: *sighs* maybe you're right... a day wouldn't be so bad right?

Rouge: I know I'm right, so c'mon! Lets go!

Amy: go where?

Rouge: There's gonna be a huge party at knuckle's place! I encouraged him to have one to liven up the place abit. 

Amy: Oh! Sure! A party doesn't sound too bad right now.

Rouge: Kay! See you there! Oh and dont forget a mask.

Amy: A mask? 

Rouge: it's a masquerade silly, his place is huge so a mask won't be a problem

Amy: alright I'll try to make it. 

Rouge: perfect. Now go get ready, I'll pick you up soon!

(at the party, rouge and amy are fixing up in rouges' room upstairs from the party))

Rouge: (wearing a crimson, elegant mask showing half of her face with a black and crimson dress) you look fine! Stop fussing with your mask.

Amy: (wearing a long sleeved black and white dress with a black mask covering her eyes) *slightly adjusting her mask* I just think I could have looked better I mean look at you!

Rouge: *surprised * Amy! You're prettier than me! How dare you! *smiles*

Amy: Thanks! You look nice as well. Sounds like knuckles already has a few guest over. 

(The sound of cheers and welcomes come from downstairs. Rouge and amy walk downstairs to join the others)

Amy: *looks around worried * which one is sonic?

Rouge: *face plants * sweetie, I told you to forget about him, sure he might be here but you won't know who he is. I think it should stay that way at least for tonight.

Amy: True...okay I'll try.

Rouge: Great! Now lets party! *drags Amy to the crowd*

Amy: Hm....
