Chapter 2

(Amy's POV)

As I was dragged by rouge to the crowd, I just completely wanted to stop thinking about sonic. Rouge is right! For now on no sonic!

Rouge: Hey look! I think that's knuckles over there

Knuckles: (a red echidna wearing a white mask covering his left eye along with a tuxedo. Next to him was a strange hedgehog standing beside him) oh! Is that you rouge!? You look more stubbornly in that dress *laughs*

Rouge: I get it from the best, but you still haven't recognized someone else *points at Amy*

Amy: Hey knuckles, its me Amy *says waving her hand*

Knuckles: *surprised * wow! Amy you came! I guess your blue nerd is here too *laughs *

Amy: *looks aside to ignore to what he said* Actaully rouge invited me here I domt even know where sonic is and I'm trying to keep it that

Rouge: *slightly kicks knuckles* I told you not to mention it.

Knuckles: Sorry couldnt help myself, I assume you ladies haven't meet my new friends here?

(a black hedgehog with red strikes on his hair, wearing a white mask covering his eyes, with a tuxedo as well)  Hmph...

Knuckles: his names shadow, hes just being a stubborn jerk right now cause I let him borrow my tux.

Rouge: Hey, I'm rouge the bat, this here is my friend Amy

Amy: Hi...um rouge can we talked alone plz

Rouge: of course girl.

Amy: *drags rouge to corner* rouge, shadow looks like sonic!

Rouge: Omg , you're just imagining him with shadow

Amy: Just look at him closely

Rouge: *takes a look at shadow * eh, I could see...some...similarities, but still, pretend he doesn't, you barely know this guy!

Amy: Okay...

Rouge: Good, now c'mon, they're going to start the DJ going!

Amy: Oh okay!

(shadows POV)

As I watched Amy drag rouge talking about whatever, knuckles was still talking to me, eh, he was kinda annoying if you listen to him for hours about himself

Knuckles: Hey shadow, I spy with my eye, you looking at Amy

Shadow: Hm? She's interesting...in someway

Knuckles: Better ask her to dance cause the DJ is set up

Shadow: No thank you, I just came here to keep you accompanied and to "meet" new people. Beside sits only been about 5 minutes theres no way I'm doing anything new as of right now.

Knuckles: Sure, just get dancing *shoves shadow into crowd*

Shadow: *stumbles in the crowd* bitch....(sorry for language!) *walks around*

(A few minutes and hours pass and the party is going great. Back to rouge and amy...)

Amy: *standing in a corner alone until rouge comes *

Rouge: Amy! Why are you so lonely over here, c'mon, go dance!

Amy: *gets dragged by rouge into crowd bumping into shadow* hey!

Shadow: Huh, isn't that mask big enough to see in!

Rouge: Well sorry shadow, but I think you bumped into her! *just before she could say anything else, she see's one of her friends* Oh! Amy I see blaze, I'm gonna be there with her if you need me, Kay! *goes to blaze leaving shadow and Amy alone*

Amy: Hmph.....

Shadow: Hm.....

Amy:...um so when did you arrive to the party?

Shadow:...before anyone else came ...i was helping knuckles set it up....

Amy: Cool... well thanks for setting things up the place looks packed. 

*le awkward silence until slow dancing music comes on *

(rouges POV)

I still see amy and shadow standing awkwardly when I was with blaze, I have to get them to hang out for once. Any guy is better than sonic running in her head.

Blaze: * a purple cat wearing a mask covering her eyes with a gold dress with one strap* um rouge? You don't look like you're having fun?

Rouge: Well I'm trying to make amy forget about sonic at this party, but she meets one person and just does nothing! Shadow may be new but anyone is better than bluey

Blaze: I could tell, but you know its gonna be until sonic dies to get over him....wait no she will just cry over the death....

Rouge: Hm.....*has a small grin on her face* I have an idea

Blaze: ROUGE I WAS KIDDING ABOUT KILLING HIM-

*back to le awkwardness*

Amy's thoughts: Ugh, I really don't want to be here, I'm better off worrying about so- no! I cant think about him...ugh I need some sleep

Shadow: *see a figure behind amy* um....

Amy; *see's figure behing shadow* um...

*figures pushes shadow and Amy together making them hold each other*

Amy: *stares in shadows eyes* um...

Rouge: *runs behind DJ*  Yo put some slow songs on!

Amy: *blushes*

Shadows thoughts: How the hell did I get into this? Ugh I cant stand but to look into her eyes, her shiny emerald colored eyes, wait what am I thinking?! Ugh what is this?

*DJ starts playing more slow dancing music*

Shadow: Um....d-do you want to...d-dance? (What the fuck did I just say)
