Chapter 12

Tails POV

Sonic is so confusing, I wonder how hes gotten to this point. I'm sure soe,thimg should have triggered him. I call cream to get some advice.

(C: cream) (T: tails)

C: hello?

T: hey cream

C: Tails! What's going on hun?

T: I'm okay cream, do you know anything going on at 5 today?

C: Hmmm I dont think so, I think I hear amy gushing about a date for it but I don't known for sure

T: ah that's what it is?

C: what tails?

T: Sonics being a jerk to amy right now,I think he wants to ruin her date.

C: and you're gonna let him??

T: I'll try to keep him busy, I'll text you if I need anything Hun!

C: alright bye!

Now to leave sonic some errands

Amy's POV

Its almost time to go and I'm stressed out. I need to tell shadow about the note but I really want to go on the date. Just thinking about it makes me flutter.  I decide to send him a picture of the note. "Cmon cmon cmon, answer" I say as I walk around the house. He responds with an "omw (on my way)". I gotta tell yah, my heart pounced.  I decide to get ready. The thought of Sonic ruining my chance of getting over him is shocking. I wear a Jean skirt with a cute lacy top. I wear shadows scarf and wait for time to pass by. Slowly. Slowly.  And ever so slowly.

"Fuck I miss him" the doorbell rings and I spring up from my butt. I hesitate to open the door as the note passes through my head. I check the window first and I see the most handsomest boi. I sigh in relief and unlock my door.

"Shadow!" I saw rushing up to him for a big hug. Shadow hugged me back and smiled. "Well you're dressed up" he grins and I blush. I do a little spin flattering myself and he chuckles. He walks me to the car and we start to drive. As we get in I had to ask. "What about sonic? " " hes gonna be waiting for us in the park" he says keeping his eyes on the road. " what is that supposed to mean?" " I mean as he waits in the park" he gives me a quick kiss on the cheek before driving more "well be eating a meal." He says with a smirk. 

After arriving I hold onto shadows arm as we walk inside. He notices his scarf and grins. After ordering I've been receiving multiple messages on my phone. I gave shadow ,my phone as I was too scared to see what it could have been. He noticed they're from tails. 

Shadows POV

I didn't plan this out. After hearing about the note, I may have gotten a lil pissed off. I just had to do the next best thing. Even though I'm more of a restaurant guy, amy sure does like fast food, so that's where we went. Seeing her struck me, she looked amazing and I couldnt wait to go. 

As we got to the place, I've noticed amy hiding her phone from herself. Everytime I asked she'd brush it off. I need to make sure shes safe here, at least more than at the park.

"And then rouge pushed him into the slide! " she said. "Of course, he was okay but knuckles still got fed up with her after that. Now shes not allowed to go with him at waterparks." She giggled and I did too. As she talks, which is very often, her phone is blasting with notifications. I can see her get nervous. "Is something going on?" I finally ask. She sighed and looked upset. "I'm really trying to make this first date okay, even after everything but my phone keeps making me worried." I laid my hand out as she passes it over to me to inspect it.

2 text from tails

And a text from rouge.

"Is it okay if I see the messages they sent?" I asked before looking. "Yeah of course" she said. I can tell shes worried something's wrong. I dont want to worry her, maybe it's nothing. I was wrong.

The most concerning thing was the text from rouge. 'Why aren't you home?' "Did you have something to do with rouge today? I think shes at your house" I asked. Amy looked confused and replied "no not at all, try calling her"

I press to call Rouge and set it on speaker. "Amy, are you okay?!" Rouge exclaimed. She sounded tired and upset. "I'm okay rouge, what's wrong? Is something going on?" Amy pointed to the exit. I knew it was time to go. We get the leftovers in a carry out box and went to the car. "Amy, dont go home, in fact come over or soe,thing I dont know where you are but please avoid going home" "Rouge calm down, I'm not going home" amy entered the car and flopped onto the seat. "I'm gonna start driving okay?" I say. Amy nodded and I went to start the car. "Is that shadow? Good stay with him" rouge says. "Heh, dont have to tell me twice, was already planning on thag" she smiled towards me making me grin. 

Rouge started talking about how as she was passing by, she saw sonic waiting outside Amy's house. Then seeing tails messages, apparently he tried keeping him busy for a long time but when he left, he went straight to the park. "Looks like we were good to go somewhere else" I say holding Amy's hand. She looks uncomfortable and scared. "Good thing I'm out of the house " she says looking out the window. "Rouge, can we crash at your place. I dont feel like it's a good idea to go to my place either." I say. "Yeah duh, I'll tell knuckles you guys will be coming in" rouge says. We hang up and drive to her place.
