chapter 10

Amy's POV

I turned around to see the one and only, sonic. I look back at rouge with a glare and she just waved it off. I turn back to sonic and let him sit down. "Hey sonic" I say rolling my eyes. He just nodded and sat between me and shadow. Like always,  Awkwardness took control.

"Well let's start this picnic!" Tails said cutting a piece of his cheesecake. We all agreed and started eating. We started talking to get out of the awkward zone. Sonic stayed quiet through most of it. The only time's he talked was whenever I try to talk to shadow or shadow to me.

I'm definently gonna talk to rouge after this, and maybe also sonic.

Sonics POV

I can't believe shadow was at the picnic, rouge didn't tell me anything except that Amy was hosting it. I guess I could've known he is still trying to get with her. So I'm making sure they don't even speak to each other. I should probably apologize about the other night. I dont know what came over me.

We all started chatting with one and another and I didn't have to make sure shadow and amy are talking, cream and blaze dragged Amy to their conversation and shadow is talking to silver about random shit. I was talking to rouge, tails and blaze. I actually had a good time. But I kept my eye on Amy making sure shadow isn't trying to get to her.

It was soon 9pm and we all started heading home, I let the others go first so I can spy on shadow and Amy For a while.

Shadows POV

Amy decided she'd drop me off at my house while she has the chance. I agreed and we headed for the car. I drived since Amy doesn't know where I live.

"See I told you I lived close" I say five minutes later parking in my parking lot. She laughed and got out of the car. She smiled softly and gave me a quick hug. "Well see you later shad!" Amy said as she was getting inside the car.

"Yeah...hey Amy?" I said before she could close the door. "Meet me at the park entrance at 5pm tomorrow?" I said nervously. "Sure! Byee!" She said as she drives out to the road. I waved and turned around to see sonic leaning on the wall with his arms crossed.

"Looks like you have a thing for Amy, don't you?" He said glaring at me. "Why do you ask?" I say hesitantly. "Ahaha, making sure no one messes with my girl" he said chuckling. I lifted up my eyebrow and crossed my arms.

"I thought you didn't like her, and now she doesn't like you. since you told her to stay away from you" I say trying to get inside my house. Sonic quickly blocked the door and pinned me against the wall. "Look, she won't fall in love with some guy who thinks he can be involved in her life. I will make sure you don't even look at her, cause she will be mine soon" he then let me go and ran off into the night.

"What the fuck did he even say? My girl??? Last time I check hes a bitch" I storm off into my house and sat in the couch. I know that blue fucker is lying. Amy should be the thing that makes us different. I calmed down and pictured Amy's soft smile and forgot what sonic said. I then went to my room and went off to sleep.

Amy's POV

As I parked at my house, I saw a blue blur run across the road. I'm guessing it was sonic. I rolled my eyes and went inside my house.
"Hmmm...." I get bored and start walking around my house in boredom.

I got bored of doing that so I decided I should sleep. So I went to my room and stared at the ceiling.

"........."

"I wonder if I should be in love with shadow....." I say out loud to myself. "Hmmmm" I turn to my side and kept talking to myself.
"Would he turn back on me?" I say look in at my pillow.

I yawned and closed my eyes  remembering that shadow asked me out to a date at the park. I smiled and drifted of to sleep
