Chapter 13

Rouges POV

I can't believe how far sonic is going with this. I didn't even think he'd care the slightest! I told knuckles about what was going on. "Yo what?" He said. Knuckles took a moment to take in the news and he agreed letting them stay here was best. "I really want to talk to him. He needs to be talked down to" knuckles cracked his fingers as he said that. I rolled my eyes. 

"Hey, out of all people we should stay out of this" "but amy might get in trouble with this on her own" he said. I can tell he wanted to be involved. "Look, all I'm saying is, if we confront sonic, he probably will think shadow sent us. I think amy needs to have a little chat with blue boy." I pour myself a soda. We get the guest rooms ready and we wait for them to arrive,

Sonics POV

Those fuckers never showed up to the park. Even after I've finished tails tasks, I made it 5 minutes late and they weren't around at all! I speed towards Amy's house. Her car is home, so maybe she took my advice. 

"Amy! You home?" I yell at her house. No response. I knock on the door, I ring her bell, and waited. And then I knocked again. And again. Now I'm pissed. She went out after all! 

I start to look around her house to see if theres any openings. I may look like a creep but rn I'm not thinking about that. She left everything locked.  Where would 2 hedgehogs be going out for a date....

I go to shadows house.

Amy's POV 

"Thank god we're here" I tell shadow in relief. He gets out and opens the door for me to see rouges house. We rush to the door and were let inside quickly. "Rouge!" I give rouge a hug. "Hey babe! Got here in one piece huh?" She says jokingly. I smile and sit down on the couch. "Hey shadow, let's put your car in the garage, dont want no sonic seeing you're here" knuckles says taking shadow to the back. "Yeah I'd be delighted" he says. "I'll be right back" he says and I nod to him back. 

"Will you be staying the night Ames? " Rouge says pouring me a drink. "I don't know, for now yes but I wouldn't want to intrude" I say waving it off. "After going outside so much, being home sounds like a dream" I say as Rouge laughs. "Amy, I gotta talk to yah" shey says sitting besides me. I look at her curiously. 

"Amy, you gotta talk to sonic about all of this" I choke on my drink spilling some on my shirt. "Oh dear you got it in your pretty shirt! " she says as she gets me a napkin. "I'm sure that sounds, maybe bad, but if you confront him itll be easier to know his problem with yah" rouge says. I clean myself up and think for a moment. It not as bad as I thought. "I would,  and I should, but I would feel too uncomfortable being near him now. I would need to have some backup just incase." "Backup?" She questioned. "Yeah, after stalking me and preventing me to go out, who know what he could do" I say getting worried. "I'd be happy to be there, I'm pretty sure knuckles too" rouge says. "And shadow?" "No" I look at her confused. "If shadow is there, itll trigger Sonics fight or flight thingy. " "reaction?" "Yeah that" she says. Shes right, although I'd be happy to see shadow there, it would ruin confronting him. Still something feels off about it. "You sure I'll be okay?" I say looking down at my drink. "I'm sure" she says reassuring me.

"Alright were back" knuckles says. Me and rouge turn to see them and got ready for dinner.  After setting up dinner and eating, it feels like it was kinda a double date. I learned that shadow doesn't really talk as much as we do, or eat as much. "I swear you're gonna eat the whole table cloth!" I say jokingly to knuckles. We all chuckle and continue to eat, With glances from shadow making me grin. 

Sonics POV

Dumb edgy boy forgot to lock his window. As I arrived to his house I noticed his car was gone. "So they did go out with each other" I say inspecting his house. After entering I look around.  "YO THIS PLACE IS MODERN" I say looking around. Theres no mess around, everything is tidy, looking nice. Looks like that's gonna change. I snoop around to see how this shadow really is like. 

I make sure to not do any crimes, other than breaking and entering, so I just look through his drawers and eat some of his food. Apparently he likes spicy chips. I see he is prepared for alot of things. I finally found something even remotely helpful for me. This dude literally had a gun range and a stock for guns. And I remember clearly. Amy is scared of guns. I think. She had something to do with guns but I didn't pay attention.

Amy's POV 

After dinner, we decided that we were going to stay with rouge for the night. Knuckles had left a while ago so now me and rouge are watching TV downstairs while shadow has already went in his room upstairs. "So what do you think?" Rouge asks. "About what?" "You know, your first date! I'm sure in the end you must've enjoyed it" she says switching the channel. I think to how today went, even though the sonic situation happend, being with shadow for a whole day was so nice. To have someone listen to me and be a gentleman, it was just great to have soemone like that. "Yeah, I really did enjoy it! He was such a gentleman and even though he doesn't eat it much, he took me out for fast food!" I say dreaming about him. 

"I'm glad! That guy doesn't seem like a romantic type" rouge says. "Romantic or not, he treated me amazing for a day and I appreciated it" I say proudly. We laugh it off and continue watching tv. It's almost like if the sonic situation didn't happen at all. After a few hours of watching TV we head upstairs to go to our rooms. Passing by, I hear someone call out for me. "Amy?" I turn to the side to see shadow in his room half asleep. "Yeah?" I answered back. "Did you have fun today?" "Yeah it was amazing, didn't think youd be good at dates" I say jokingly. I lean on the doorway. "I'm glad 'the ultimate life form ' could take you out" he says signaling me to enter the room. I hesitate, cause like, he could be naked under those sheets. I go in and sat beside his bed.

"Would you like another?" "Another what? A Kiss? A Date? An amazing night with you?" I say. He gives me a kiss on the cheek , making my heart flutter. "If you would like, all three" he said. I smiled and got up to leave the room. "Goodnight shadow!" "Goodnight amy"
